A story of young university students, including Yeo Joon (Park Ji-Hoon), Kim So-Bin (Kang Min-Ah) and Nam Soo-Hyun (Bae In-Hyuk).

Yeo Joon is a first year university student. He has a cute appearance and a bright personality. He tries to show people only a good image. He has wealthy parents, but he didn't receive enough affection from his parents.

Kim So-Bin is a 3rd grade university student. She is sincere and honest. After her parents divorced, she has lived with her father.

Nam Soo-Hyun is a smart, perfectionist university student. He has a good looking appearance and receives excellent academic grades. But he is financially in difficult situation. he does do various part time works to support himself and also his family mother and younger sibling. due to his situation, he is cynical to people.

Park Min Jul 15 2023 12:57 am The story was so soulless and shallow it made the 12 episodes runtime so damn dreadful. The whole trio main cast were lackluster from all angles, both the actors and their characters. This drama was nothing but a cheap BL bait anyway. It should have been a short drama thrown on some random streaming services instead of being a full TV broadcast.

kdrama watcher Jan 02 2023 5:17 am FL Kim So-Bin's character is so pathetic and annoying most of the time, i tried to watch this but everytime her character does something it always gets on my nerve. That scene in Ep 7 where Yeo Jun keeps getting punched by their bully classmate and she was just there standing on the side doing nothing made me drop this drama. Literally the two doesn't have chemistry it felt very forced. What i liked about this though are Yeo Jun/Park Jihoon and Bae In-hyuk's amazing acting! I'm pretty sure those two will go a long way with their career in the future!

The life stories of the characters hits me hard especially yeo jun and nam soohyun T.T And most of the casts nailed their characters well despite many are new faces and their chemistry were good too especially the trio lead! You'd know the drama is good when you even watch all the behind the scenes lol

Also, park jihoon is really talented??! This is his first drama I watched and not gonna lie, he's one of the best idol-actor out there. Hope to see him in more soon!

The drama makes me want to keep watching it. besides Romance, there are family conflicts, difficult life, born rich but not Getting the love of parents, born poor, the burden of responsibility for the family is borne alone. Here we learn that it is not always born rich and always happy. I'm sad to see Jihoon's character that his parents didn't want including getting physical treatment from his father reminded me of myself. The difference is that my father wants a son but I am born As per his expectations. So that I have always been neglected since I was a child. Receiving physical treatment, insulted, considered bad. It made me hate my father so much. He's the reason I don't Can be successful. Inhibitor. Don't want to see me progress. Envy me even though I'm his son. It was my sister's turn who was born according to her expectations. Makes me hate him even more. Why? He glorifies my sister. My sister said rudely she wasn't angry. Back when I Aged like my sister, I got hit instead. My father is like that to his daughter. Ha ha ha. That's why I can't stop praying for him to die soon. It's been tens of thousands of times. I am sick of. I feel jealous. If I was born a boy, I would definitely love him. Not beaten, not insulted. Not humiliated in front of people. So for those of you who have a good father, take care of him. I know my attitude is very outrageous especially my parents. But that's my life. If he doesn't waste me then I won't.

Okay back to drama, I like Jihoon and InHyuk's acting. Very good. My guess is correct, Jihoon's brother is someone who cares so much to protect Jihoon. I am very sad and touched at the same time.Oh yeah in this webtoon Sleep is about BxB right? Because when I checked on the official page. Whether the character is Soohyun or Yeojun, they are kissing. but luckily it doesn't follow like in the webtoon. I'm relieved hehe

Unlike some of the more expensive recent drama;s Like Doom and Vincenzo that had no depth the writing was subpar and the most it had to offer was a good looking actor that gets tired quick writers you actually need a decent script for beauty to come alive.

ahyoung Jul 23 2021 3:56 pm I really did not have any expectations because the cast was full of rising stars but these rookie actors proved me wrong! The story of each character was a realistic and interesting outlook of how a college student's life will really be.

For the first time while watching a kdrama, a poor person's bathroom was actually captured LMAO :') It was NSH's bathroom! So many dramas have been portraying poor people but giving them well-furnished studio apartments, latest phone, and stuff. Finally something I could relate with.

I am currently a college student. My first year was amazing, however, corona just messed it all up. I miss going to my university, I miss the view, and I miss the people so much! Thanks to this drama for giving me a glimpse of the "college life" I missed! :(

I’m disappointed that it ended with 12 episodes only I wish they extended it to 16 eps for us to see more of their friendship. All in all it is good and worth of your time.

I especially loved the fact that the characters grew and gained courage and confidence throughout the drama, instead of the typical "sucking it up" until the final episode. People are used to black and brown hair lee minho, kim soohyun straight hairstyles and I think 1 great change won't hurt and I think it's great for almost all people in their 20's like to color their hair, and that fully explains youth (the concept of this drama), his hair is perfect. No hate ♡ I'm a Jihoon avid fan ^^v

To me it was very distracting how they hinted multiple times that Yeo Jun and Nam Soo Hyun were atracted to each other romantically as means to queerbait LGBT people into thinking it was a love triangle (there's a very ambiguous line in the end too) to boost the audience.

Seriously, one could write an essay on the many subtle hints they have given us. NSH was the first person YJ oppened up about his issues and suffering, even when he was already dating KSB. They were each other's support system to talk about their pain, to comfort each other, learn how to heal and move on. They were always affectionate towards each other, and even when they had other people in their life for longer or with a bond that should be prioritized, they worried about each other's well being and ran to save each other's lives. YJ taught NSH to open up his heart and dont be so harsh with people. NSH taught YJ to challenge himself and look a his pain in a different way. The way they cared for each other, looked at each other had a deeper meaning. In the last ep with that memory recap of the two YJ says "they end up falling in love".

NSH a few episodes back said he had feelings for someone, but never expressed them when a girl confessed to him, he was always very clear that he wasn't available. One might argue it was a personality trait, because he "didnt have the time" for a relationship, but when it came to YJ he was always there, he came running to protect him, he was always emotionally available to talk, or hug.

With that, as much as i object to the writer's decision of not taking this hints into consideration in the end, i liked the end, it was very good to see the three main characters happy, enjoying each others company. But by not giving NSH a moment to confess his true feelings (even if not corresponded by YJ), or "find time to date" they ended up invalidating a bit of his character arc.

Overall is a very good series!

His ending is too pathetic. He was being honest about he liking someone but still cannot enjoy dating. Very disappointing.

Iris Jun 29 2021 6:12 pm Its sad that all and I mean All the characters are so incredibly interesting and the actors did such a great and beautiful job portraying them but it seems like the writers are amateurs who don't know how to properly take the story along the episodes. Its like there are tones of pieces missing from a puzzle and they're calling it complete when its not.. The character developments which is the main arc of this drama is extremely lacking and its getting very confusing. If I were given such interesting characters played by amazing actors and a good webtoon I would literally be dancing on a roof thinking I had hit jackpot. The writers missed it

Wint nandar Jun 29 2021 4:05 am I am a fan of park jihoon and i watch every episode of this drama I really want to give an advice to script writer and director I have done watching 5 epi and in my opinion ep 3 and 4 is really amazing and good. in ep 3 yeojun and soobin hang out is really nice to watch....ep 4 when yeojun runs to soobin dorm makes me fluttering....a story about soohyun and roomates of soobin is goof too.....ep 1 and 2 is quite boring...in ep 1 i only like about bungee scene and its ost............i have already known rating for ep 5 will be lower while watching bcos that ep filled with coldness betwween yeo jun and both soo bin and soohyun...i want these three chemistry rather than coldness towards each other....if nam soo hyun keep staying away from other casts it woud be downfall for the drama.

If you want bl between Yeojun and Soohyun, that will not happen because it didn't even happen in the webtoon. If Junwan is part of the main lead here in the drama, then I agree that this should be bl.

If this show was malexmale I still would have loved it just as much.. Also in the webtoon the male lead was still with the female lead.. the second male lead was gay..

If there is any romance I think it will just be a subplot, maybe between So Bin and her friend or So Bin and Yeo Jun or Seo Bin and Soo Hyun. If this is going to be a BL between Yeo Jun and Soo hyun or any other male characters, I think I will still watch it but I'm not going to appreciate their relationship much since I'm not really into same sex relationships, but It doesn't mean I'm homophobic, since I respect them and the people that like them, it's just a matter of preference, I saw someone saying not liking BL is homophobic, no honey, it means they have their own preference and that preference is not like yours.

He is looking for a true friend/brother which is hard to come by these days. He is surrounded by people only interested in his looks/money/connections so I can see why he will be genuinely fascinated n intrigued by another who seems to not be moved by any of them. This is going to be a beautiful story about true friendship. There is also a wonderful storyline between the male lead n female leads and I can't wait to see their love blossom.

It’s Soohyun who’s not and has a relationship with same sex but not with Yeo Jun but with his brother Junwan. Some people like female x male romance more than male x male romance like how others like male x male romance more than female x male romance. It’s just a matter of respecting other’s preference. Yeo Jun is the MAIN LEAD and he’s straight so there’s no problem if other people wants to ship him with the female lead

This is really good drama I really recommended to watch this, and I’m happy bae in hyuk can get main cast role He’s suited with this role here and have much screentime, this is the best chance to bae in hyuk show his acting capability also for park jihoon btw I’m wannable, also i know kang mina ofc I think he’s more suited with act cheerful person but it’s okay I’ll look forward in more episode of this drama but she’s will be suit with this role if her hair was longer But This is just my thoughts and wish BUT really honestly all cast was great act. Except for the fact that he might not agree on a relationship btwn NSH and YJ because of the ever so perfect family they are portraying... From the onset I felt the only thing for the male lead and female lead is friendship. By the way, she likes someone already and I think Yeo Jun will help the guy realize his feelings for So bin. With every scene accommodating Nam So Hyun and Yeo Jun...YJ can be seen staring and gazing lovingly at NSH. Come to think of it...if it's abt romancing the female lead... it's a common plot...I love the way the story line is in a BL way...fresh breath and it's giving me what I expected not the common feel of romance and YJ and NSH have a very hot chemistry going on.... Ain't nothing bad in the male lead romancing. Kim So Bin and any of the male lead romancing is a No-No....

Can't wait to watch Episode 3 and 4 next week.

I mean with a male lead like that this show was good enough and would have been even better if they hadn't added the stupid literally every kshow cliches like male lead's traumatic past and the stupid love triangle. Couldn't the second male lead just have been there as a main character who learns about his growth and the beauty of youth instead of being the cliche who falls and gets hurt? And couldn't the male lead have had a complex personality but actually a normal non tragic past like an actual person? Jeez.. so much for a new show if they keep adding the same plots to good shows and mediocre shows

I liked how the director is mixing the plot to BL to romance between the male and female lead, its nice ♡ Ep 1 and 2 are so great!

I think this drama will portray the friendship and a little bromance between Yeo Jun and Soo Hyun. Based on the relationship chart released by KBS, I do not see any love triangle between the three main lead. That's just how I see it and we'll just see how it goes.

Jihoon has been acting since he was 9 years old in mostly cameo/support roles and got high praise for his first adult roles as the executioner turned nobleman Chilnom/Youngsoo and as Gong Juyeong in Love Revolution. Minah has also been acting since she was a child in mostly support roles and finally got her big break of recognition recently with True Beauty. Bae Inhyuk is quickly rising as a new actor to watch out for starring in several webdramas now landing his first network lead in just a few years.

I'm glad Victory Contents gave the opportunity to star in a primetime college drama to age-appropriate rising stars instead of going the easy safe route of casting the same few popular 20s actors/actresses or casting 30 year olds as college students. These three are going to knock it out the park.

So repetitive as usual but still looking up for it hope it doesnt effect the drama ?
