A mysterious creature destroys 70% of the moon. The creature then warns that if he is not destroyed by March of next year, Earth will be next. The creature also demands that he becomes the homeroom teacher for 3rd grade E class at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. The government is powerless to say no.

The creature then becomes the homeroom teacher of 3rd grade E class which consists of failed students including Nagisa Shiota (Ryosuke Yamada). The creature is called Teacher Koro.

Meanwhile, the government requests that the students try to kill Teacher Koro even though he possesses super powers. The government offers a 10 billion yen reward for whomever successfully kills him. The students are confused by the situation, but decide to kill Teacher Koro.

When their class begins with Teacher Koro, the students finds themselves having a good time with their new teacher.

Based on manga series "Ansatsu Kyoshitsu" by Yusei Matsui (first published July, 2012 in Weekly Shōnen Jump).

Sheng Her Dec 08 2016 9:10 am I skimmed through the list of actors, and I thought I looked at the voice actor for Korosensei, but I guess I didn't. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Nino's appearance~ I'm not a Nino fan, but he was GREAT at being Korosensei. I loved the laugh he does for Korosensei!

Gohan May 03 2016 1:09 am i was really excited when i found out that the voice of koro-sensei is actually Nino XD especially when i found out that Nino will also role as "Human Koro - sensei" in the sotsugyou - hen movie i just go like 'WTF OMG REALLYYY???' or so. i dont really interested in this movie at first, but when i watch it, it actually pretty good. a little different, but thats okay. and the part that i really love is just NINOOO XD

Houjou Nov 17 2015 10:15 pm I still don't know why Kang Jiyoung is getting criticised for acting in this series as Irina. I mean, her acting is wonderful, yet people are saying that she only wants to act in Japan because "she knows Koreans will knock her for her acting". I don't think that's very fair. Plus, if she's willing to show skin in Japanese movies, dramas and shows, then it just shows how brave and dedicated she is to her acting career.

Setting that aside, the live action for 暗殺教室 is a great movie! Yamada Ryousuke really brings out the character of Nagisa well, and Masaki is quite suitable for playing Akabane!

reg Oct 04 2015 8:28 am really good movie! It did well considering the manga is still ongoing and I was skeptical on how it would turn out, but it was really good in my opinion. Kazunari Ninomiya did a great job on Koro-sensei's voice, and Ryosuke Yamada also did a great job on Nagisa's character. I can't wait for the second installment!!!

Errrr Oct 01 2015 2:01 pm The casting on Rio, B*tch-sensei and Takaoka is splendid and seem to hit the mark but where did Nagisa's hairdo go? And I thought Karasuma was supposedly good-looking despite his age (no offense). Masaki Sato seems okay but the hairstyle's kind of... Anywho I just hope this doesn't turn bad (or worse). Still, looking forward to the movie.

I'm feeling a bit iffy about Kippei Shiina as Tadaomi, but the casting choices for Rio and Takaoka were spot on. I admit I didn't like the idea of midget Itona at first but Seishiro Kato's pretty darn cute too.
