Shun Takahata (Sota Fukushi) is an ordinary high school student leading a boring life. His life long friend is Ichika Akimoto (Hirona Yamazaki).

One day, a teacher’s head explodes in class. Shun Takahata and his classmates are forced to play a game of death without knowing who, why or how.

Based on manga series "Kamisama no Iu Toori" by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Akeji Fujimura (published from March, 2011 to November, 2012 by Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine).
Filming is scheduled to begin June, 2014 and finish October, 2014.

Cindy Sep 25 2021 11:15 am This is literally my comfort movie. I really enjoy watching it, and I even made my friends do so. We absolutely have the best time. Amaya is my favourite character and I really love the actor who plays him. I’m sure this movie will keep being my favourite, and for some reason—it really brings me nostalgia when I see it. As if I’ve seen it a long, long time ago. Anyways, yeah. 10/10 movie, very enjoyable and well written.

kpopkitty Jul 17 2015 7:55 am I loved this movie. It's completely different, and very unique, to say the least. The cast of characters are great. If Gantz and 20th Century Boys had a child, it would be this movie. I won't spoil it for anyone, but I will say that the ending really left an opening for a sequel. I haven't read the manga, but I really hope there is a sequel to this, as I think they just can't end it the way that they did. I want moooore. :)

Faye Jun 19 2015 9:53 am I thought it would be the same as Battle Royale or Btooom anime/manga. It turns out just killing, killing, and killing, and torture in all minutes. I can't stand half of the movie. It seems hurt just by watching and no solid/interesting story & character, although I don't watch it until the end. Just give me some reason to watch until it's completed. I don't feel attached to any of the character because they'll appear for a few minutes then died without memories.
