Hiroto Miyama (Jun Matsumoto) is a poor lawyer who takes on criminal cases, but unable to make money. He pursues the truth for the 0.1% out of Japan's 99.9% conviction rate. One day, Hiroto is scouted by Haruhiko Madarame (Ittoku Kishibe). Haruhiko Madarame is the head of Madarame Law Firm which is one of the biggest law firms among the 4 big law firms. Hiroto Miyama begins to work with Atsuhiro Sada (Teruyuki Kagawa). Atsuhiro Sada is a lawyer specializing in civil cases and makes lots of money for the law firm. He doesn't have any interest in criminal cases which can not make money.

The Great And Powerful Turtle Feb 17 2021 8:11 am Japan's 99.9% conviction rate is disgusting and exposes their criminal investigation system as nothing more than a less lethal version of the Kangaroo courts of the CCP ... So many innocent victims convicted ..so many confessing to crimes they couldn't possibly have committed,makes you think WHY so many innocent people are confessing in police custody??? Just what are they doing to get them to do it....

Lolo Feb 01 2018 10:39 pm Entertaining drama but every single episode with same theme, men criminals women victims. And in every single episode belittling male characters and male criminals abusing women, or abusing power. Also often women asking for special treatment cause are females...

Funny to see so many episodes dealing with men abusing women in a country with one of the lowest crime ratios of the world, including rape.

Normal that japanese men are going hervibore... They have to deal with this xxxx every single day...

Resuming, a drama following feminist agenda.

Wondering if i should watch season 2, probably same stuff will be over the place again and again.

Matsumoto Jun and Kagawa Teruyuki will return as the leading roles, with Kimura Fumino as the new heroine.
