Yoon Jong-Woo (Yim Si-Wan) is a man in his 20's. He has lived in a small town for all of his life, but he gets a job at a small office in Seoul. Yoon Jong-Woo moves out to Seoul and stays at a cheap apartment which shares its kitchen and bathroom with other residents. He doesn't like staying at the apartment and he doesn't like the other residents who seem weird and suspicious.

All the other actors were great too but bever watched it again because it's just too scary and creepy. Will never stay at hostels now. Im si won so talented too. Particularly at playing unhinged characters. Actually now I want to watch it again. Will i find it equally horrifying again?

I am so amazed with LDW acting here. His crazy eyes and smile, my god, I was truly disturbed and had chills on my spine. Love the plot twist. It all made sense in the end.

Im si wan and Lee dong wook's acting was really amazing. The actor who acts as the twins of diseased man and angry man really a talented actor. He really deserved an award fir his double acting in one screen. Wow he really steals the show. I will recommend this ppsychological thriller to all kdrama lovers. This is masterpiece actually. A must watch! Daebak!!!

Every psychological thriller fan must watch SFH every episode is more stressful that the previous one. The cinematography, ost, the acting were all Top Notch. You’ll never regret watching it.

The ambience is so dark and stressfull. I watch this when i was in the middle stress of work and its succesfully bring nightmare for me. Also the acting is so good, im si wan perfectly plying jonwoo role, he is a protagonist and need help but also annoying in the same time. Lee dong wook also great as heartless psycho. Aaah literally everyone in this drama is so good for potraying a realistic annoying character.

Masterpiece May 12 2021 7:25 pm Never Regret Watching This! It might be the best korean psychological thriller i’ve ever seen! Maybe its too disturbing or annoying for those non thriller genre fan, but give it a try, like seriously! This drama is underrated af, how come I just find out this drama this year omg.

The story is very unique but realistic at the same time. It made me realise that environment affect that much on people mental state. There sooo much strange things happen but the chatacters seemed normalize it so much lmao.

I love the storyline, it took us the journey of main lead’s mind. When people murder annoying brat idk i found it satisfying and it made me wonder abt my sanity lol; If you’ve read the webtoon, you’ll be impressed abt how the casts fit so well on the characters! The acting was superb! I still can’t get over from dongwook acting skill! Omg he’s very versatile, and also im siwan, he can potray the main lead feeling so well and his eyes really contains lot of emotion. The one who played as Ms eom and the twin is a genius tho! Literally best!! If i can watch again for the first time, i would pick this drama for sure!!

Come here bcoz of i found how hot is lee dong wook here & a bit of the 'misaeng' guy. Inner demon is in all of us but provoked it will come out. Seriously pity jung woo unfortunate luck after coming to seoul & ship jung hwa the only police that actually working dedicated to solve the mystery. It seem fair he clear up all the baddies & beat the hell of his bullying collegue. Can feel his anger & i dont mind the dr killed jung woon boss. I did wish something like this myself when i worked with collegue & boss like jung woo have. Yes hell is other people. Stop having toxic people around you really help a lot. His gf is no help ciz she is in her very own hell at work. I understand her, coz thats how my friend treat me when i try to tell them my trouble.Bad for him coz he go trap in a bad financial prob that he cant either move out or quit his job like i do plus get close to religion & pray to god can ease the pain a bit.

egg flam Mar 29 2021 1:01 am May I have a strangers from hell 2 please- Okay, all jokes aside, this show is so good. Like everything is written perfectly. It's so entertaining and I mostly just move on when I watch a show like this, but this really stuck to me.. the characters, the plots, the events, EVERYTHING is PERFECT! except for the fact that is only 10 episodes with no second part- if it was like twenty episodes long then it would be perfect all we need to do is beg for a strangers from hell 2 lol.

I find it amusing tho (that some claimed moon jo died while some said otherwise). It's probably the writer/director that wanted it to stay this way!

P/s: Although I am not so into lee dongwook, but I gotta say that he's freaking gorgeous in this drama. I'm so in love with his silky black hair!

But when I watched it again, I felt like if I could meet someone I think was like Jung Woo, I would help him as much as I could.

Grace Mar 04 2021 12:36 pm This drama made me realise that everyone has the inner demon inside us. Everyone holds grudges, and everyone feels the need to be on top of the life pyramid. But the thing that matters is how much does the demon grow? How much does the environment one lives in feed the demon? In Jong-Woo’s case, he pretty much controlled his ‘demon’ back at his hometown. But due to the extreme stress & oppression in Seoul, the demon finally expresses itself and engulf Jong-Woo.

So, be nice to everyone. You don’t know how much he/she is struggling to keep the demon inside.

Also, he was still hallucinating the presence of Mun Jo after killing everyone. Plus I can't believe y'all think Mun Jo would just die like that at the hand of an amateur. He let Jong U live knowing he had created a master serial killer who doesn't really know what he is doing because he knows Jong U doesn't want to believe he can do such hence the alter ego.

It’s definitely not for people with more on the weak side of a mental health. The only problem with this show was the fact that I lacked some context of a few psychopaths. I mean their childhood, especially the dentist, whom we knew almost 0 about. But maybe that was the whole point, to keep him super mysterious. Also, he had scars on his body, so he probably lived in abusive households.

The ending is insane. It really got me thinking. Few SPOILERS Ahead.

The fact that Moon-Joo physically died, but he’s technically still alive in another person was mind-blowing. I’m seriously just so- Watch It!!..

Justine Jan 26 2021 5:58 am One of the best Korean shows to ever exist and possibly my favorite Korean one that I have ever watched. Not recommended for people with psychopathic tendencies and unstable minds, it could probably heavily mess with you in a negative way. The actors did a fantastic job, I can’t even exaggerate how perfect the acting was, especially the two main male leads Im Si-wan and Lee Dong-Wook. (It was really nice to see LDW in such a different drama from his usually done work, props to him for displaying such a variety of talent). My favorite genre for both movies and shows is psychological thriller (it could be horror, but I’m too much of a scaredy cat unfortunately so I rarely watch horror movies), and, quite frankly, I’m never scared or creeped out by any psycho thrillers, no matter how gruesome they get. But this totally messed with me on a deep level! It’s really creepy all through out, the camera work is also awesome and makes you feel very into the show. After the show ended, LDW’s creepy psycho smile was still in my mind. And the ending is amazing. It’s so unexpected, but it’s amazing in a way. Really gets you thinking afterwards.

JY Jan 06 2021 6:47 am The worst Psycho genre i ever watched.... Slow pace storyline.. It make me feel sleepy, you can only see the storyline developing at the last 3 eps.. The ending, the police said there are fingerprints and bloods showing that Moonzo was killing all of them but it turned out otherwise.. totally not recommended if you are the type who are into hardcore psychological genre.

mindy Dec 30 2020 2:09 am Would totally recommend, particularly if you are into the psychological thriller genre. Strangers from Hell is one of the best I've seen in a while. It had characters that truly gripped me, particular the protagonist and the villain Moon Ju. It was incredible because I could never feel one way about a single character; I could look at them with horror and fascination and love at the same time; they were developed so well and each member of the cast performed spectacularly.

The story was brilliantly written (the final plot twist took me completely off guard), the characters excellently developed and the story explored some deep questions into the human psyche and human nature, that truly left me unsettled. The ending could not have been any more brilliant, in my opinion. Strangers from Hell is unsettling, fascinating and thought-provoking at the same time.

Would totally recommend it.

It's a deep psychological thriller drama, I love the drama's flow. It reminds me that people are really scary, we're indeed the scariest. I also love how Dong Wook calls Si Wan "babe". Watch it, if you're looking for a sign, this is it!

I'll put warning for those who have unstable mind to not watch it ^^ Overall it's very interesting for me, I hate light romcom dramas, I likes heavy dramas which need lots of thinking and guessing. This is pretty much my fav. If you like the Parasite movie, you'll like this drama too. If you don't like Parasite movie, don't watch this! I'm interesting in psychological drama, it's very interesting to see how different environment can result in a huge behavior changes, never imitate it though! don't and never! I think the ending is very satisfying, though maybe there are some parts where you may question the MC, but I'll say that he was drug since the first time he came to the housing studio! Remember the landlord lady always give him drinks every single time! I assumed it's human blood ^^ and maybe mixed with drugs, that's why he always have unstable mind when he back at the studio, and slowly the effect became strong on him that he started to hallucinate ^^ maybe it was also effect of stress pressure as well ^^ remember no one willing to listen to him, always thinking that he is crazy or something like that. It's simply interesting ^^ can't blame the MC though. Though if it's me, ofc I'll never want to stay there, maybe I'll just stay at the police station... or the sauna? I always wonder why the MC never considers to stay at sauna? though I remembered watching several dramas where MC is poor, they'll sleep at sauna all of the time.

Zi Nov 02 2020 12:24 pm If you’re fun of thriller dramas, you should watch this. I’m on to episode 6 and it’s really creepy. Can’t wait to see the ending.. While the drama gives me shudder, I think they could’ve emphasized more that the main character played by I’m Si-wan lacks money, so he doesn’t have the luxury to leave the place at that very moment. At episode 4 or 5, it was shown that he still has over a million won after sending money (500k won) to his mother. Anyone who’s truly scared would’ve leave the place..

Siwan Oct 21 2020 8:21 pm For all those who are confused about Siwan and the female police officer, why didn't Siwan call him and didn't give a clear explanation, which in fact he already gave the statement. I guess it's because Siwan is already sick. Before he lived in Eden College, he already had trauma when he was enlisted in the military. Dan has problems in his family (his brother is both materially troublesome and his poverty) Plus he wants to continue to be a novelist even though it doesn't make money for years, and he also always writes about crimes where his brain is made to keep thinking hard and hard scenes so his brain was already problematic before So I guess the reason he doesn't want to get the police too involved is because he wants to handle it himself, he's been thinking about killing all the people who get him into trouble a lot. Because he has been mentally ill from many things and in Kos that is the only place he can kill those murderers too, not just the people who trouble him who are not psychopaths. I think the story would be different if the police were active, he could also kill the policeman because of his messy mental state.

It's not flawless tho, at the middle I really started to loose my interest, but final 3 chapters grew it back. Dragging, yes, indeed. I'd say the character went according to director, and didnt have sense in what he was doing. He had enough money just to get out of there. He was brainwashed somehow, I understand, but still it felt not right that he stayed there. Like, the escape were so close. Also, I'd say there should've been a bit more drama in the stories of characters, and a bit more character development as well. I think they couldve fit it in 10 episodes. And oh man, how I hated the mentor at work. Such pathetic. But to be honest, he wasnt evil. He was awful, just pathetic, but he never did bad deeds. And if it wasnt a main character but someone else, he couldve just make him shut up anyhow, rather talking with him, or exposing him to colleagues. There were really a lot to do I mean, but main character somehow were very stiff and paranoid and took to much of crap on him and I didnt like that at all. Still, final battle was epic. The ending blown me out. It's pretty much a good ending, but at the same time, bad. It doesnt give us any hope, but how it happens in reality, time fixes things. The message is pretty wrong though. Still, hopefully, as tradition, main character would be able to return back to normal life after being traumatized so much.

Boomz Oct 17 2020 3:05 pm This series really do have a lot of pluses, but minuses kinda make it 50 to 50 for me. And minuses is dragging. Too much dragging. Especially the main character. He is too stuck. His presence in the residence up until 7th episode feels too dragging. He just walks around so tired and lazy all the time like a jiggling spaghetti and that annoys really much. He doesnt stand for himself before his awful worker colleagues and boss. He doesnt try anything to convince anybody. How can viewer hook up with such character. He seems pathetic, and not even vulnerable. I'm starting to put myself on his place and feel pathetic too and I dont like it. People say something to him and he just makes this dumb face like "you dont believe me, huh". There were so much he could tell the police officer girl but he just let it slide. I dont understand and it all felt like a dragging thing. But the idea is quite interesting. His change of mood towards others because of the place he lived in. It's very true and very interesting. But the show lacks a bit of presenting it correctly. My head feels like a wax and I'm on 9th episode, because they make me feel very mixed emotions towards everyone. I feel like I'm lost as to who trust and what the main character would do. It messes with my brain and I absolutely hate it. If that was the point than I guess writer and director did a great job. But is this going to be my favorite show, or would I rewatch it? Less likely.

And the workers, man. I didnt know you can make up such annoying characters. Overall, seems unique and great series for now.

I loved the overall ambiance, which is quite opressing and particular. The actors played remarkably well, it adds a lot to the drama. ( I didn't expect Im Siwan to be this good and Lee Dong Wook portrayed perfectly his character) Just like any other dramas, there's some elements left unexplained or underdevelloped, but overall the sotry was really good and full of suspens until the very end, so you'll still be able to enjoy this.

Sure, it isn't as light as most kdramas are but I've always had a gripe with kdrama viewers that complain ad infinitum about a series not being comical enough, having sad endings or just touching really heavy topics. There are a lot of series to watch, they have to touch upon different topics and moods.

Lee Dong Wook's and Im Shi Wan's acting is superb it really just took me in and I forgot they're acting cause' it felt so real they should receive awards for this series! The other cast members did a spectacular job and the vibe was always upto the serial killer level from them especially through their smiles Totally recommend this drama, for me, the ending took me by surprise

Sadly it's been hard for me to come across dramas lately where I'll watch the whole thing through, but I found no difficulty watching this drama whatsoever. Everything from the plot to the characters keeps you watching up until its climatic ending. I was so happy that I happened to stumble upon this masterpiece. Please give it a watch if you haven't already, I think you'll like it just as much as me if not more!!

lin Jun 20 2020 5:16 pm now this is a BEYOND amazing psychological thriller. not one with a bunch of jump scares but one that rather completely messes with your mind and gives you shivers with each episode. im siwan's acting was perfectly done which had a great impact on the drama as well. i loved every moment of this show and would highly recommend it to anyone who's into the genre or just in for a ride ;)

I'm not his biggest fan, but it's my first time seeing him play a psycho villain, and he did a great job, I was surprised at how realistically he portrayed his character. I hope he does more darker dramas than romcoms in the future. He is really talented in that area.

I will deffo re-watch this drama in the future.The story-line was phenomenal, the actors were amazing. It was creepy, scary, intense and just brilliant. The director did a fantastic job. I definitely recommend this drama. It is a MUST watch, and I don't usually post reviews but I had to for this drama. And of course I fell in love with the psycho ;) Lee Dong Wook - this role was made for him. I also have to praise - Park Jong-Hwan, Lee Jeong-Eun, Hyeon-Wook Lee and Lee Joong-Ok - so creepy and so scary. They did such a good job. I finished watching this yesterday and I want to re-watch it again. Definitely my favourite psychological drama.

Trip May 26 2020 12:24 am I've watched all 10 episodes in two days in Netflix in Canada. Simply put, this show outdoes everything produced in North America. Beautifully filmed with a superb story that doesnt treat viewers as utter idiots. North American producers should take note of how to produce something that is so disturbing yet compelling that it grasps the viewers and doesn't let go. Each character was well done.

Will there be a bluray release? Hope so. One question I have is why were the knife blades blurred in some episode? Is it a censorship thing in Korea?

OCN dramas alway put amazing premises and present awesome visual atmospheres, but end up with really silly or bad conducted plots. Thank God this is not the case. Is not a mastrepiece in screenwriting, but compared to other productions in the same vibe from the channel and the fact that it is only 10 episodes to work with a lot of characters, Strangers... hold up reeeally well. and the acting. OMG. Lee Dong-Wook is superb. I didn't expect him to take a part like this, he was very bold for doing that and, damn, he nailed it. Everybody's acting is sooo good!! That really helps to sell the story even more. That, and the fact that the characters are very interesting. Yes, sometimes they do dumb things, but never in a level that disengage you too much from the plot. Please, someone needs to give an award to Park Jong-Hwan, his character was insanely well played, jesus, the work he must have had to keep the consistency of it!

Sugar and Salt Apr 21 2020 2:48 am I enjoyed two unique aspects of this drama that I've never seen in western productions - the comedy theme well written into what is a scary horror movie, and the realistic acting style.

FYI: I think that the main protagonist developed mental health problems and started "visioning" the killer even after he dies, starting with that scene where Jung Ho threatened his girlfriend with a knife thinking she was the killer. Eventually the mental health problems combined with his killing spree led him to become a psuedo serial killer himself.

The police woman is also developing mental health problems, but as a fear of the serial killer returning, hence she's seeing visions of him and getting really scared in an empty car.

I disliked the reoccurring storyline in K-dramas where they kill off the pretty/cute male friend of the main actor, but the damsel in distress is always saved. Furthermore the inclusion of the "foreigner" was random and pointless, detracting from the wider story. And finally, some of the comments about feminism struck me as being out of place with the story setting.

I myself can't watch horror movies and gives me nightmares too but i managed to watch this serie and i highly recommend it. but honestly there is scenes where i jumped especially when they use creepy musics or whispering sounds in dark places and there is also scenes with blood for you to know. So in any case if you are very sensitive to the tiniest creepy scene don't watch it, otherwise , i liked this serie so try to start watching it and if you think that you can't handle it then drop it. Don't watch it in a dark room though. :p I felt like my comment is scarier that the drama XD Yumishi.

SPOILER: For those who didn't understand the ending, it turned out that Jong-Woo is the one who killed everyone at the Eden Studio. Moon-Jo told him that he will let him live if he kills everyone else and so Jong-Woo killed everyone. When Jong-Woo kills Moon-Jo, Moon-Jo says thet "they will be together forever". Jong-Woo still sees Moon-Jo even after he has killed him. This is because Jong-Woo has replaced Moon-Jo and they are now metaphorically "one".

Sunny Lee Nov 10 2019 6:03 am I was just admiring how amazingly each actor portrayed their character,and how realistic each scenario was, as I'm sure we meet a few people like this at some point of our life....espically those office people, they had such realistic roles...and that mother's advice to her son was so true...humans are the most scariest than any ghost or any devil or any animal....just one person is enough to wreck havoc in many people's lives, ow dangerous one human can get....in reality the world we like in as much as amazing a beautiful it is, at the same time the strangers we meet can make it a living hell..afteral we all start as strangers at some point....this drama is as realistic as it can get....and sometimes reality isnt always beautiful or happy....we just need to face it and be able to understand that this word we live in is just as scary as this drama...if we aren't able to face the truth in this drama and just get flustered watching this drama, how do you think we can survive in this world...its not like we can change the channel to the world we live in...we just need to understand it and be able to be open minded, and appreciate this amazing masterpiece the writers and actors put together.

Savee Nov 10 2019 5:22 am This drama is the epitome of well made psychological thriller...the acting is so natural and amazingly done....the setting was well made...characters had so much depth to them, real psychological aspects were added into each scenario, and a satisfyingly eerie ending...in fact it was so well made that it literally frightened away viewers....I wish they make more drama like this...LDW acted exactly like a serial killer down to the last strand of hair in his body...Im site's acting was super realistic and somewhat relatable..."dont we all just sometimes play out the most drastic action we can take in certain situations...and then realise that we wont actually do something crazy like that...unless we are at complete breaking point" it's actually a psychologically accurate thing...we tend to do this as our brain tries to keep in check of our sanity....even when we go somewhere w sometimes think...what if there was a fire? How would I get out...we start playing out scenarios,that's a way our brain keeps us in check....this is so amazing...I have never see any drama do it so realistically that is actually scares away viewers...hope to see more drama like this in the future

It's quite rare to see real thriller series. The length of the horror is killing me (10 ep-wow). Watch it with full anticipation of what happen next. Very recommended for those who want to escape from romantic vibes.

But the remaining characters really did a good job too, from LJE, PJH, to LJO. Everyone has successfully frightened me. Not to mention the directing and editing skills which are super awesome. It's been a while since I found the last drama worth watching. I can't say no more. This Is Hella Freakin Good. 10/10

Don't know why people who just want another dose of pointless cliched romantic fluff come here and whine about this drama being "too dark" when its exactly what it says on the tin and never claimed to be otherwise. It's a dark gore-y drama for people who like that sort of stuff. If you're not into the genre then move along.

All the actors portray their character really well but Dong wook and Siwan stand out, they're brilliant! OCN never fail to create such an outstanding drama from DUAL, SAVE ME 2, WATCHER and now Strangers from Hell. I just hope koreans appreciate more of this type of drama..

I would recommend this drama 10/10 kudos to all the actors and productions!

The story was really interesting and not dragging at all. Definitely one of the best dramas this year, if not of the last few years! 10/10 would recommend (especially if you're a fan of the thriller / horror genre)

I respect so much the main characters and their beautiful ιnterpretation of their roles. Usually, even when you see a serial killer in the Kdramas, you tend to sympathize with them or crush on them, thinking that they are just misunderstood or whatever. This time, Lee Dong-Wook was so into his role that it made the character seem very creepy and frightening, just like seeing a real serial killer on the action! The same goes to Im Si-Wan who portrayed his "mentality" while having this irresistible desire to kill, just how much he enjoyed doing it, and in the end his similarity with Seo Moon-Zo. Hats off! OCN did it again!

It was weird in a good way, the main lead inner comments and actions sometimes made me pause and wonder…. About life itself, even his comments about whether the place was hell or the people surrounding him were making it hell. Never anticipated the ending though.. great drama, great cast, highly recommended.

But, be careful, people with mental illness or desperate, please don't watch this film. I think this film possible disturb your psychology.

I still carried little hope that he won't end up to be another psychotic killer. sora Oct 06 2019 2:08 pm one of the best dramas for this year, I can understand the low ratings in South Korea since its not a typical k drama, with our favorite actors dressing up to be the most terrifying and to say they proved themself and did a tremendous job in this drama is understatement. loved this drama I think it needs a sequel just to see the struggles Siwan will face later on even though the ending made since, hoping Netflix will pick it up soon.

Besides he wasn't under any anesthesia, couldn't he have fought his way, they are both men for gods sake. Entertreti Oct 05 2019 6:30 am A brilliantly shot, acted and directed drama. Every single detail is amazing. Deliciously creepy and rattling. NOT for the faint of heart. If you enjoy great shows like Hannibal with dynamics like dr. lecter and will's or even villanelle and eve from killing eve, you'll love this. But if you're easily put off by psychological thrillers and disturbing themes like cannibalism then this isn't for you. You've been warned! I've seen upto ep 8 and can't wait for the penultimate ep & rated 19 finale! Loving this Gotham-esque seoul the producers have conjured up! Kudos to all the actors for bringing their very best to their roles. The whole cast has been absolutely incredibe, especially Lee Dongwook who has blown me away by his portrayal of moonjo and gained himself a new fan. I liked him in Goblin but was never interested enough to seek out his other works but I Never knew he of all people could scare the heck out of me with his acting. Will look out for his future projects. His dentist character is truly iconic. Can't wait to see how it ends for him.

niuniuniu Oct 02 2019 10:18 pm only 10 episodes? I want more I also feel how scared Jung Woo is, also joined in emotions when the people around him don't care at all. Maybe because I'm also timid. He should have just moved from there from the beginning. The most frightening in the boarding house is not Lee Dong Wook but the owner of the boarding house, the man with glasses and the man who likes to laugh. They are very scary, we never know what they can do to us with their strange attitude.

Oct 01 2019 7:41 pm I was at my favorite Bubble Tea cafe last night and this show was playing on the big screen so I asked the name of it and when I got home last night I started watching it from the beginning on my Korean Film App. I am on episode 4 right now and am completely hooked on the show and the actors. I like all of them and look forward to finding out what happens to each of them. I will definitely be watching more Korean shows (with English subtitles since I am English) after I this wonderfully spooky show is over.

But he indeed made me look at what he is portraying.Even had nightmares last night. I am stunned at how well this drama is getting executed. Everyone on set ,behind set you all deserve applause.

The context for this gruesome plot is not yet revealed ,I believe that's the suspense? So ,I would say don't assume LDW actions are for thrill. In that perspective, ppl need to revisit past episodes to actually understand what is he conveying.

I get it that dramas must have some commercial appeal, but please find some actor who can actually act!! There was not even a hint of his malice in the first scenes with him, when he tortured that guy or when he killed his henchman in the car he was supposed to show that he is thrilled because he is a man who gets a kick out of killing people, instead he had a blank expression; not even when he arranged the teeth in that collection of his, he acted like he was arranging socks in a drawer, this guy just can't act!

Turn out the new guy is just a normal one, Jong-woo is the weird one, he fit in just fine even though he doesn't realize that himself. He trying too hard to be normal, but inside he is a psycho. One interesting show.

I have not seen the webtoon at all, I speculated that the lead guy may eventually break up with his not-understanding gf, lost his job, and finally join the psycho gang and continue with the spree killing...I just hope that the female cop won't die, she is so responsible in her job to keep on investigating....maybe they would later on move their killing place to another place so that the cop won't be able to get them or something like that...

tim65 Sep 24 2019 4:43 pm personally I do like this drama even though they did change the story if compare to the webcomic (they killed off Yoo Ki-Hyeok way too early), you can't help but compare both, so if you haven't read the comic just hold off until you finished watching the show. First time seeing lee dong wook playing a different character and he's doing a pretty good job at playing bad guy. Jong woo is a weird one himself too, he is very similar to ki hyeok both have a strange personality but trying to act like normal people.

I know some humans do terrible deeds and this drama manages to make you feel very sick and depressed by the way the world is. It's done very well and the actors are amazing but really if you're soft hearted and get depressed easily, like me, this isn't for you.

One of the young ones who can really be a natural actor immersed in his role. Coming back from his military service this should be a great drama for him. The list of A-actors (besides the main lead) for this drama is awesome...especially lee dong wook & lee jung eun. Daebak Am sooo loooking forward to this. Again another OCN drama! Way to go.....

For example, if the lead role is the ordinary guy and the supporting is a vampire. Playing a vampire would be more challenging as an actor. Let Lee Dong Wook decide. People sometimes argue so much about it, just like when Jang Hyuk choose supporting role. But they're actors, they can't always stay for the lead roles if they're going to be acting for life.

Sia May 13 2019 8:35 am It's cute that Lee Dong Wook is open for playing secondary roles given the fact he's been a leading actor since My Girl's drama (i guess?) but seriously i hope it would not rivet all that much with Im Si Wan's character in this drama the way it was with Gong Yoo's character in Goblin (have no complaints about the drama though since it's pretty much how the story went) and no hate whatsoever on Si Wan since i do believe that he's a great actor. I know my comment sounded pretty annoying but the fact that LDW could've chosen to play in the leading role projects instead of the secondary ones keep bugging me.
