Brain was the first Korean drama that I watched and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. I am one of those old fashioned fans that enjoy a happy-ending story with good moral values. It’s good to see that the characters have blossomed and grown in the areas that they had shown weakness in.
However, I would have liked to see the story ended slightly differently. As a woman, I would have liked to see Dr Lee accede to Dr Yun’s request instead of Dr Yun running back to Dr Lee. I wonder if this is a reflection of Korean society where male supremacy might still be a norm. It would also be nice for Dr Lee to give credit to Prof Kim in public, either in his acceptance speech or simply by sharing with his alma mater. After all, his mentor had guided him in crisis situations and shown kindness to him on a number of occasions.
Would there be a sequel ?
