Plot
Min moves to Japan following his professor father. One day at a local shrine, he meets a beautiful, long-haired Japanese girl with innocent eyes. Her name is Nanae, and she is an aspiring painter. Min falls for her at first sight. He longs for her but soon learns that Nanae attends the same school to which Min has just transferred.
Min befriends Nanae, and despite the cultural and language barriers, they become fast friends, taking in the famous sites of Kyoto. Their feelings for each other grow, and on a visit to a ceramic store, Nanae promises some day to paint Min’s portrait on the pottery that is made by him. Min continues to learn the craft from his father, and he comes to realize that he has to put all of his heart, the kind of love he feels for Nanae, into making the pottery for it not to crack.
Because of his grandmother’s sudden illness, Min has to return to Korea to be with her. He cannot get in touch with Nanae, and he becomes anxious. After his grandmother regains her health, he hurries back to Japan to look for Nanae, but she is nowhere to be found. Have his true feelings for Nanae not reached her? Why has Nanae disappeared without a word?

This was a really pretty movie, visually and the story was cute too. The happy ending isn't an american happy ending. I found it really interesting (and endering) that they didn't kiss at the end, just a sweet hug. Would NEVER happen in an american movie, but it was really beautiful. Really, go watch the movie.

I have to say, this movie was pretty amazing. It's absolutely sweet and romantic and goes to show no matter how far apart lovers are, in the end they will be reunited :]
Min (played by LEE Jun-Ki) at the beginning at the film, is taken by sweet and gentle Nanae (played by Aoi Miyazaki) after a harsh fall from his bike, resulting in a bloody wound which is, I guess you can say "healed" by Nanae. As Min goes it slow with Nanae, it's obvious he would do anything to be with her. Slowly, but surely their love grows until one day when on a date with Min, Nanae gets a call from her sister saying she's scared. Rushing home, she sees the man, who is aggressive and hot-tempered and dating their drunk-addict mom, beating their mother. Meanwhile, after flying back to Korea to visit his ill-ed grandmother, he returns to Japan hoping to see Nanae, but she is nowhere to be found.
2 years later they meet again and after all the tears and sadness, they meet their promise to be together on first day of snowfall <3 (You won't get it unless you watch the movie so go watch it!)
I definitely reccomend!
so out of all i say
7.5-8/10 xD
