Due to his ex-wife’s debt, Joon-Man (Lee Kwang-Soo) had no choice but to work for a gang boss. Even though he has a warm personality, he works as a loan shark. To get debt from an ice hockey coach, Joon-Man joins the ice hockey team.

I played hockey for a good chunk of my life. And I somehow ended up getting recommendations for me to watch this from a few friends I'm into Korean pop with.

So first off. The hockey stuff doesn't really make much sense with the story. For a drama centered around the sport, and from what I was told, consulting with actual hockey players in the filming to make it authentic, they did a pretty....bad job. Half the team quit and somehow I'm to expect whichever league they're in would say "Yes please, play with 8 players". No. They'd have been disqualified. Playing a full 60 minute game of hockey with 8 players against a team with 20 players would've had all of them dying by the end of the first period, let alone 3 periods. You can't rest, and your opponent can?. What?. You play 50 seconds to a minute-ten tops before switching up. Which could've easily played into the whole storyline of the owner trying to get rid of the team. Rather than all the heroics behind all of them banding together to play, he could've just said "Hey you don't have enough to field a full team so league rules say the team's done". Bam, drama over.

It was pretty funny to see Lee Kwang Soo try to learn to skate, and the fact he doesn't look like he can skate very well even after he's on the ice was pretty comedic, especially after his entire role on the team was essentially to just be a bender and a goon and to bodycheck and fight guys.

Beyond that the storyline was okay but it just seemed like the guy went back to his previous life after playing so what was the point of all of it. And the woman he tried to help didn't really get resolved, just kinda....hey she's hurting but I can't fix it so, hey enjoy life.

If you've never seen the sport played or no absolutely nothing about actual hockey and can look past some minor plot points that either don't make much sense or aren't resolved entirely by the end of this.....two episode drama series(what) then by all means go off and watch it.

a Jul 15 2016 4:42 am to be honest this started out boring af.. i always see kwangsoo act funny so it cracked me up whenever kwangsoo acted all badass. It was hard for me I couldn't take him seriously so that was a negative part . But I decided to continue because of my love for Kwangsoo and Dongyeon.. Turns out this is a nice drama. It carries a really good message. not gonna lie i cried multiple times. it's sad but gives off a warm feeling. makes me feel good. its short and sweet. though i am SADDENED about kwangsoo and that lady thats abused by her husband.. they'd be so cute. i thought it would be that she had a trauma and he would get close to her and help her and protect her and make her smile and all that but UGHGFFHHH :'( breaks my heart that there are people in real life like her that would stay and protect their abusers.. also im confused at the ending.. he goes back to being a loan shark?

"since when"? have you ever watched "KARA Secret Love" which kwangsoo participated in? it was only 1 episode or in another format it was 2 episodes. or have you heard KBS Drama Special that only airs an episode? like "Don't Worry I'm a Ghost", "What is The Ghost Up to", n others. puck! is kind of those dramas.

My impression is that he got his wish to live as a person for the day but he goes right back to being a thug tomorrow. We can only hope he gets out of that lifestyle.

Kwangsoo really an amazing actor.. just from the first few seconds when he was driving, he was already Daebak... sadly its only 2 episodes.. but still it made me laugh like crazy and cried like a girl.. its really good.. its a 8.5/10 rating for me.. nice storyline.. he really handsome when he wears Hockey gears.. RECOMMENDED!
