Gyun-Woo (Cha Tae-Hyun) is a college student, more interested in picking up girls, drinking with his buddies and avoiding his nagging mother whenever possible. While riding the subway, a drunken girl (Gianna Jun) then changes his fate forever. She's nearly unconscious on the train and vomits on an older guy. She then leans over to Gyun-Woo and everybody assumes she is his girlfriend! Gyun-Woo soon finds himself in a relationship he didn't ask for, but soon unable to forget this sassy girl.

  1. One of the scenes shown during the sequence when Gyeon-Woo is reading The Girl's letter shows The Girl in the coffee shop touching her ex-boyfriend's hand and is shown ordering a soda. (Throughout the film, whenever Gyeon-Woo tries to order soda, the Girl changes it to coffee.)
  2. The owner of the motel, where Gyeon-Woo and the Girl stay at twice, also is a subway operator and the gang leader that Gyeon-Woo encounters in prison. They are actually quintuplets (played by Kim Il-Woo). News of their birth is shown in a news article hanging at the door of the motel. They appear throughout the film.
  3. The transvestite girl Gyeon-Woo meets when he and The Girl are broken up appears earlier in the film, sitting next to The Girl on the subway scene where The Girl brings the forgotten package to the grandmother.
  4. The soundtrack used at the wuxia/samurai spoof scene was derived from Ashes of Time.
  5. In the scene where the Girl meets the old man at the tree-top time-capsule, viewers can see a small UFO fly away as the scene ends.

Eskimo The movie is a true masterpiece. I've seen like over 80 korean movies so far and this really is one of the best. The story has so much depths and the twist is so mind-boggling and beautiful at the same time. It's funny and romantic, and emotional towards the end. The story isn't exactly linear but it also doesn't mean that it's complex. It's something you can truly enjoy without having to put in much thoughts, but when it's time for the reveal, everything is pieced out for you so perfectly. It's like understanding a math question in class, at ease.

Quilla Loved the movie so much. I cried, and laughed in tell my head hurt that's how good it was. If you have not seen the movie yet you MUST! And if you don't get it or don't like it, then your not up to its standards just saying. It's a MUST WATCH MOVIE...

NP Just re-watched it, and after watching the American version, I must say this was a gazillion times better! Especially the acting - unbelievable chemistry. The actors worked so well together and with their characterisation. Superb. One of the most flawless piece of cinema if there ever was one.

xia I watch this film more than 30 times.

hannah The best,. Is this the part 2 of Windstruck??

Rainee 12 years without Cha Tae Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun in another movie or drama is blasphemy! They are so good together, it's like firework! Oh please, please, make them work together again! Make it a drama, 20 episodes or more, and let them be husband and wife. Conjure and concoct every conflict and issue but then make sure we get them to make up and make us giddy... There's only so much repeated viewings of this movie and Happy Together that I can watch T____T
