In Kyoto, shortly after the war, Ichika Kuwanoki (Mugi Kadowaki) is the eldest daughter of parents who runs the long-established restaurant Kuwanoki. She was married, but her husband died in the war. She is now working as a chef in a hotel. Her family's restaurant Kuwanoki is in a difficult situation. In order to save Kuwanoki, she marries Amane Yamaguchi (Ryuto Sakuma). He is a 19 year old university student (15 years younger than Ichika Kuwanoki) and the third son of the family who runs a a long-established hotel in Osaka. Even though they marry into convenience and while they try to rebuild restaurant Kuwanoki with her heart-warming food, Ichika Kuwanoki and Amane Yamaguchi develop into real loving couple.
