In-Soo (Kang Ha-Neul) has a special gift to see ghosts and has become isolated from other students because of this. He transfers to a high school in a rural area outside of Seoul. There, In-Soo meets a female ghost (Kim So-Eun) at the high school and forms a friendship with her.

Meanwhile, classmates disappear one by one.

Notes

Filming began February 27, 2014 at a high school in Hoengseong, Gangwon Province and finished April 4, 2014.
Early Korean title was "Sonyeomoodeom" (literally "The Girl's Grave"). The movie title was then changed to "Sonyeogoedam" (literally "Girl Ghost Story"). The name change occurred after the Sewol Ferry accident.

Raeyim Sep 18 2017 3:00 am I really loved this movie! The ending made me so angry though. To everyone who doesn't understand, the ghost is like Sae-Hee, she was bullied into killing herself by the students In-Su is now teaching even though the school is labeled as being violence free and the girl said she just moved away. The girl who said she moved is basically the new Hyun-Ji and it shows that In-Su will have to live the whole experience over again (and that bullying in SoKor is really hardcore and messed up).

Another is the same in which the guy goes to a rural area, gets isolated by the class, makes friends with this peculiar girl and class mates die/disappear.

Meh, I'm hoping it's not the same! *^*
