Ayane Kataoka (Rin Takanashi) is 27-years-old. She works at city hall in Akaiwa, Okayama Prefecture. The area is famous for its peaches and Ayane Kataoka grows peaches at her home. She hopes to register a new type of peach that her older brother developed before he passed away.
One day, young government official Osamu Kimura (Takumi Saito) from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries arrives in Akaiwa from Tokyo.
