Plot

Hyeong-Do (So Ji-Sub) is an assassin for a company that masquerades as a metal trading company. One day, he takes on a job partnering with a man Hyun-Yi, who is he is to kill afterwards. Hyun-Yi asks a favor to Hyeong-Do which is to give money to his family.

Hyeong-Do visits Hyun-Yi's home where he meets Hyun-Yi's wife Yoo Mi-Yeon (Lee Mi-Yeon). Yoo Mi-Yeon is a former singer whom Hyeong-Do admired in the past. Guilt, an unknown feeling up to this point for Hyeong-Do, begins take over Hyeong-Do.

When Hyeong-Do's company realizes that Hyeong-Do hasn't taken out Hyun-Yi as planned, Hyeong-Do quickly becomes their target ...

At firt i watched "My secret Terrius", was very impressed of the theme and mostly of his acting and of his charm. Than continued with "oh my venus" "the master sun" "Cain & Abel", already watched "phantom" Also watched the amazing movie "Be with You" great movie and fenomenal acting performance of So Ji Sub.....charmy talented....simply unique. I will keep watching all over again evry personage he act on, is just perfect. This movie "the company man" was great too, the end a little bit sad

Lucy Jan 20 2018 6:51 am I am greatly impressed with Kdramas, whether they're TV series or movies. A Company Man didn't fail to deliver. I've turned away from anything America has to offer with all the cgi and repeated plots, writing 'down to' their audience as if we were too stupid to understand the meaning of this or that unless it's pointed out to us, and the standard being to overhype to get sales. THANK YOU, KOREA, for coming into my life!!!!!!!

Even with great cast and strong plot, the movie, as the plot unfolded, is not a film that tugs at the viewer's heart-strings. Personally, I prefer the movie 'Rough Cut' because it was much more well-developed, suspense, and thrilling.

SJS was exploding with charms in romantic-comedy dramas: Master's Sun and Oh My Venus.

Tazg Jan 31 2016 1:54 am Master Sun was the absolute best. Will never forget that drama regardless of time. His character fits his persona of constant melancholy and quiet seriousness. He was terribly at his best lookwise. It seems that this time around in this movie however Im not picking the same essence. Disappointed.

They feel he is a really talented actor and they have been watching him. Someone asked if he spoke English. The producer speaking, said No. They asked how he know he didn't. The producer said, he received an award in NYC and he needed a translator.

Janet Jan 25 2015 10:18 am not really fond of action/horror movie. just watch it for SJS who has got my attention since Master's Sun. I really got hooked to his character, absolutely worth watching if you are SJS' fan. He is a wonderful actor.

Tina Aug 02 2014 6:01 pm It reminds me a little of City Hunter... Now don't get me wrong, the two have nothing in common, it's just that the feeling the movie gives to me is kinda like that of CH. Anyway, the movie was good and I admit I watched It primarily because of So Ji Sub - I really liked him in Master's Sun and Always, so I decided to see him acting in A Company Man too. Personally, I wasn't disappointed. I know some may disagree, but still, I think the movie was good.

I admit I watched this movie primarily to see my baby dongjun on the big screen... and was hugely disappointed. The concept was great, the plot was great, the actors were amazing (so jisub always the best) but somehow it just felt dull and boring to me. Nothing to really pull in the audience in to, no strong scenes to tug at heartstrings, the entire movie was just a linear sequestration of events (all of which was lacking in emotion and realism)... Such a pity because the concept was so good. The only reason why I kept on watching was to see if it would get any better (and to see dongjun of course, but not like appeared a lot)
