Jinta, Meiko, Naruko, Atsumu, Chiriko and Tetsudo are elementary school students. They are best friends and frequently gather at a secret place to hang out. One summer day, Meiko dies in an accident. The other five best friends can't gather together any more.
After time passes, Jinta is now in the first year of high school. One day, Mieko reappears with an adult like appearance. Jinta is the only one who can see Mieko. Meiko asks her best friends to grant her wish, but the problem is nobody knows her wish. Meiko herself can't even remember the wish. Now, the five friends, who have all went their separate ways, gather again at their secret place to try to grant Meiko's wish.
