Team Plasma revives a group of ancient pokemon named the Genesect Army from a fossil 300 million years old. The Genesect fall into despair because their place is now the Rocky Mountains. To reestablish their native environment, they head out to the big city of New Talk. Pokemon Mewtwo, created by humans, is able to sense Pokemon Genesect's voice.
At this time, Satoshi and Pikachu visit New Talk City. They are surprised to find pokemons living peacefully in New Talk City. Then... the Genesect appear.
