The religious theme is quite prominent throughout the drama especially in the second half, it may not be everyone's cup of tea. Too many over-dramatic elements were intertwined that it ruined the later parts. They should've kept in focus and narrowed it down.

Jinjoo Sep 06 2021 8:33 pm i'm rewatching my dvd on this drama & liking it all over again! i'm a huge fan of both JJH & JHJ so it's already a bonus for me to have both in this beautiful drama! i'd say this can be considered one of Kdrama classics at least in my opinion! It's a must-watch drama!

jinjoo Jul 06 2017 7:02 pm this drama made me cry watching it 2nd time! luv Jo hyun jae in his role as Andrew and Woo jin, he should've won a best actor award in this drama! soooo good soooo addictive! it's a must see if you haven't watched this & HIGHLY recommended! i hope to see him again with Soo Ae!

defrots7 Jan 22 2015 4:07 pm Why is everyone in the comments says it's sad drama or bittersweet? SPOILERS : In the end, I'm pretty sure they end up together as a couple again. He says says while she's in the coma that If she where to wake up from her coma, "Let's love again" then she does wakes up, holding his hands. He may have become a priest but he probably gave up that path to be whit her afterward.

Aria Feb 26 2014 2:46 am Soo Ae always impressed me with her acting ability. Knowing that this was her first role as a lead, she was phenomenal. This love story is one of the most difficult to handle and it's very sad but beautiful. It remains in my top 5 Korean melodramas to date. It is a must see. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have been crying for the last 3 or 4 episodes; and, even when she woke up (how long was she in a coma?), it was still bitter sweet because of their love for each other that could never be fulfilled. I had read somewhere that this was supposed to be an amazing love story; but I never thought it would have touched my heart in so many ways. The acting was superb, especially for younger actors when this was released: Jo Hyun-Jae was 22; Soo Ae was 22; Ji Jin-Hee was the oldest at 39, but it was one of his first dramas. I just can't understand why this drama and/or the actors performances didn't win any awards!!! Well, I thought it was a 5 Star drama that I would recommend to anyone who loves a fantastic love story...
