Plot

Tampopo (Nobuko Miyamoto) is a widowed chef who owns a (bad) ramen shop in Tokyo, Goro (Tsutomu Yamazaki) a truck driver and an experienced ramen shop customer takes pity and decides to help her make the best ramen.
