You can read his facial expressions like a book. The subtle nuances and pregnant pauses in the rise of phoenixes will have you screaming “kiss her already” at the screen. It has all the intrigue of Game of Thrones and is nicely padded out with a wealth of culture! The on screen charisma of this actor is off the charts!! Shehla Oct 26 2021 4:48 am He is an amazing actor.. just loved him in The rise of the Phoenix, yin yang master and lost in 1949.. am yet to watch his painted skin. Just can’t get over him. He did a great job while portraying twins in lost in 1949.. but I want watch him having a happy ending. He is a brilliant actor and very very handsome and I respect and admire him a lot . I agree he dosent look Chinese. Amethyst Faith Dec 14 2020 11:54 pm I love his acting style and ability to persuade people about the character he was portraying in The Rise of the Phoenixes. I was totally speechless,I cried and fought with them (Nini). It was a build and break story, tragic and intense but overall every event in the story was reasonable. I love how he gave life to his character, Ning Yi. Congratulations to a job well done.I hope he continues to improve his craft and be more active on screen. He is brilliant, good looking and a serious actor. Thank you for the oppurtunity to watch this kind of historical drama on screen. Sakura Jun 30 2011 1:26 am I wonder if his nationality is really chinese? Cuz he's really handsome. I think he has mixed-blood of uygur nationality. "Uygur"s r called "weiwur" in chinese language, and they live in Xinjiang province of China. jun Apr 25 2010 2:40 am he was good in Painted Skin - watch that - a better movie than Mulan. luv Jan 31 2010 12:24 pm fell in love with him in mulan XD so good looking~ and not that bad an actor but i'll hafta watch some other things wit him in it to determine his acting skills Categories: ActorsChinese actors Page Discussion View View source History
