Plot

JDrama Jun 08 2025 11:47 pm Oh man, this show. If you're watching this today, in 2025, you have to remember that Japanese culture in 1993 was waaaaaay different than we could imagine here in the west. The scenario presented in the show was actually a common enough occurrence as to spawn a show discussing the issue. That being said, it's S-tier, top quality J-Drama at its best.

And that ending; amazing. In terms of long lasting impact it's up there with Majo no Jouken. Seriously, it's that good.

Watch this show.

PS. avoid the 2002 remake like the plague. It's just so vastly inferior in literally every way imaginable.

don martin Feb 23 2013 4:47 am definately a drama. the best i've seen in years and i'm 55yrs old. i watched volumes 1-5 $ 11. 6-10 i missed and am deeply saddened that i missed the 6-10 volumes and am seeking the entire set. anybody know where i can get the entire series?
