Kim Tae-Joo (Lee Ha-Na) is the eldest of three siblings. She is warm-hearted and tolerant, but she also has a hot temper. She cuts off relationships with people whom she doesn’t like. One day, Kim Tae-Joo meets Lee Sang-Joon (Lim Ju-Hwan) again after may years. They attended the same elementary school.

Lee Sang-Joon is a popular actor. He is sensitive, imaginative, and smart. He is also the eldest sibling in his family. Since he was a child, he has been loved by his family deeply. His family was once in debt, but, after Lee Sang-Joon became successful, he paid off their debt and continues to support them financially. During filming for an acting project, Lee Sang-Joon gets injured and goes to the hospital. There he meets his first love Kim Tae-Joo, whom he knew when he was an elementary school student.

Mandy Jul 18 2024 4:05 pm Im fully convinced that the people feeling bad for young shik didnt pay attemtion. His mother did that to him. Are we missing out on how all his aunt and cousin did was constantly cater to him, how they both actively sacrificed for him. But instead of addressing his misconception he chose to live in the lie and justify his shitty behavior to them. Young Shik is also not the only adopted character- FL is adopted, Jung Woo is adopted, the daughter of the ceo is also adopted none of these characters were painted badly. His family consistently asked (in some cases begged) him apologize and get professional help but he refused. He was an awful person. I understood him hiding the prosecutor information but everything else was unforgivable. Even when faced with the truth he chose the lie.

And no comic relief like the drum teacher chastising the elders for bad behavior. Also why cast the parents with actors only 10 years younger than the grandma? 1947 can’t be the parent of both sibling parent couple born in 1957. And then they were much older parents of the three siblings.

Do people remember a random name from years before being in a tabloid? It’s very frustrating that a random punch or car dent could mean an immediate loss of 15K but someone actually assaulting a person at random gets nothing.

I honestly think they would have thrown a party if yungshik had just jumped off a building. I found myself crying so much for him losing everything. Young-Sik's mother looks like trash, and she is trash, but no one named her this way in her face. How polite from Lee Sang-Joon's family part. If I was in their place, I would have screamed in their face, "get out of my house, you trashes".

If jinwoo father is actually young sikh, I believe this guy committed cardnol sin. I understand the importance of money but to say my son or not my son back and forth is really unforgivable. Right now important thing is find out who arecjinwoo's real biological father and biological mother. Poor guy jinwoo must going nut trying to make any sense.

My one of the favorite couple the ceo and so-rim. Wow I had no idea the jihad wasn't his biological daughter. The ceo apparently never told this to his daughter. He actually protect his daughter from getting this information.His despicable ex- wife actually was using this information to get back to him. It's a lot strong charactership of the ceo. The way he handled his daughter was very caring and assertive as well.His ex-wife from he'll is disrupting all kinds of both ceo and so -rim.so- Rim I like the way she handle herself with the ex- wife. So Rim was very bold and intelligent.These two are very assertive, respectable,& intimate as well. As more and more of ex- wife assert herself let's see how so -Rim will response. The ex- wife is vengeful, aggressive & sorry full as well. She is using all cards on the table.More frequent hands holding, looking into the eyes, and talking in respectfully each others. Oh wow! Very enjoyable.

By the way the gathering of the three sibling couples was very enjoable.it was relaxing , lots of joking, and respectable as well.

Lastly I was to complement so- rim' s father. He has very strong character. He respect and cared for his children. The way he talks to his wife and his mother were very respectable as well.

Yesi Feb 20 2023 8:45 am I’ve enjoyed this drama, it reminds me of the over the top novelas. People seem to forget that these are made to be over the top and meant to keep viewers entertained. It’s fun and a good drama o get your mind off your life for a while. At least no one died and came back to life. I enjoyed each of the siblings stories and the way they’ve developed, real life has a lot of urns, granted it’s normally over a lifetime. But dramas don’t have that luxury. It’s a good mindless drama to watch that keeps you rooting for the sibling relationships to overcome their obstacles.

Desperate attempt to bring in the sick ex wife..2 years ok but 20 years still chase after married orher the ex is ridicoulous and its a total turn off. The cheating cousins case not resolve yet. Im tired of watching them. Waste too much time on the extra and lost focus on the main..perhap no idea no story. Its not worth watching towards the end my excitement is gone just dissatisfaction & hate left. Less is more and this drama is very bad after eps 30 i dont bother to watch this unless nothing interesting on tv n im too tired to hold my handphone

mirinae Feb 16 2023 11:54 pm Based on the storyline until ep40, the actual leading characters are Lee Sangjun (Lim Juhwan) and Kim Sorim (Kim Soeun) although they are not the couple, since this drama is revolving with their stories. The lead siblings should have been them as both actor and actress are leading the show with their great and stable acting skills.

Lee Hana as Kim Taeju was serviceable but she lacks of acting skills and presence, just like Bae Dabin in It's Beautiful Now. Her character in Voice series was written based on her strength as an actress, her acting was enough for the character but not some kind of an award winning performance. Unfortunately this time her character is written in a way that displaying her weaknesses more than her strengths.

Kim Seungsu is doing good in romancing much younger lady but he should also be thankful that his leading lady is Kim Soeun as his acting has been greatly influenced by her.

Don't your females have any rights other than to submit to the father of the new family to address him as father even though that person already has a birth father? Why don't korean women have a better standing in families. Does adherence to traditional historical values keep korean society stuck in the old ways of doing things? Let's start w/ the main character couple ( Tae- joo & Sang Joon), they did paternity test so many times, I am confused who the real father or mother of jiwoo? It is fascinating to see that it is not Sang - joon' s son. Young sikh this guy is really despicable low life. He did all this to get the ?.  But if Jang se-ran did took all inherent money maybe this was deserved. Poor jiwoo he is getting hit by all sides. Who is my mother? Or who is my father?obviously he is big collateral damage.

? haha my favorite ? professor & ?: I bet you anything the doctors grandma will fight tooth and nail when the baby ? is born. It is ? ( my guess) she will be looked like the professor. She will be so cute, the both families will fight for the baby.Before the bus accidental scence was great. The professor had lots of strongly feelings for the doctor,but she didn't dig into the feeling. Given the family circumstance she figure it is impossible getting into any relationship w/ doctor. Of course that is until the bus accident. This is when all of her feeling came out in open to the public. On this scene where professor encounter the doctor after frantically seeking him, I love her beating up the doctor. My tears stream down on my cheeks. She loves him so much. Their relationship is much more stronger & bolder. I really looking forward to their relationship.

My other couple the ceo & so- rim: this couple is so maured . It truly is amazing. I really like the way they relate to each other. The ceo s kiss of so- Rim cheek was very touching. I love to see deep & long mouth to mouth kiss. So Rim' s unplanned but spurred of the moments geniuene& sincere support of her brother' s pursue of relationship was very touching. It looks like ceos daughter and ex boy friend aren't giving up each other's this should be interesting. I hope this kdram has book. I would buy it and read it again and again. I hope the show never ends.

The first couple ( main characters) if there is such rule as to how to response out wedlock child , I believe the way Lee sang joon acted is correct. His offering to divorce is the right thing. Even if Tae Joo( wife) memory is not back completely, he should have mentioned a child out of marriage. The combination out of wedlock child & almost absence of Tae-joo memory of Sang Joonas result in divorce offering.

The next couple, the professor & ? doctor. She is something else she literally was heading to Chicago to birth the kid by herself, Raise the kid by herself, & living with the kid by herself, I cannot critique lack independent. I love it when the doctor announced the marriage & ?.. The grandma proposal to have write out pledge was ridiculous & funny.

Another favorite couple ceo & so-rim, like I said it before the ceo is matured & very thoughtful man, big ♥ with lots intelliengent. His proposal to formally date so Rim despite of ex- boyfriend & her daughter. He is very big hearted & thoughtful man. He deeply loves his daughter.Namsoo ex is making drama even more interesting. Yeah when so- Rim complement & asked her brother to seriously considered as father figure to the professor. ? my tears stream downed on my ?. I was so moved by love & caring of his brother. It is big of her to that. .

Robert Jan 19 2023 8:10 pm I love ?. The show goes way to fast for me. I really enjoy rewatching them. I really there was a written book ? for this show in Enlish or korean.i would enjoy reading it. The first couple ( main characters), I really give lots of credit to Lee sang Jun. He is honestly confronting his own mother knowing that whatever the truth will hurt him but still wanting to confront them. It's b/ c he loves his wife kim tae joo so much.He is sincere and genuine about this. I give him ? up for doing this. Let's see how he will process a child out of wedlock. His mother overly protective, more of helicopter type of parent. If Jang se ran really did sipened off inherited money she is not good as she appeared on the show. We will see about this. I still doubts about this story.

The 2nd ?, the ceo and so Rim, it brings smile whenever I think about this couple.The love ? is so sincere, vibrant, energetic & genuine. The elevator break down incident for a brief moment. I thought that it was staged by ceo. From what I could tell it was not staged by him. It was an accident. The ceo has ♥ of steel. When so Rim told him she feels uncomfortable him in the same room.He waited for her outside. What a guy!The ceo daughter boyfriend his action is strengthening thier relationship instead of other way around.i have feeling the ceo knows about & who so Rim ex- boyfriend is.

The 3rd couple, professor and ? doctor. Ha! Brings me ? laugh whenever I think about this two. They are so cute the way act each others. Clearly the professor wants to keep the ? baby.she is smart woman & not giving any clues as how she wants navigate this matter.i think I can summarize this way, go away ( to doctor), nothing to do with you, I will the care of everything.she genius about this. I ?.

I still believe Sang Joon is not Ji Woo's dad. Maybe the stylist knows that Sang Joon is rich that is why she said he is the father to get money. Also this is all part of Young Sik's revenge. Maybe he had a DNA test between Ji Woo and the mother and that is the DNA result he showed Sang Joon.

I see in the next episode preview that Sang Joon and Tae Joo will get a divorce? I hope not.

Most audiences love the 2nd couple because their storyline is nicely built up during the middle of this drama, and this, as a consequence, made viewers lose interest in the 1st couple, whose story was changed poorly due to the ratings. When they turned to focus on the 2nd & 3rd couple, the ratings went up a bit (0.5-0.7%) but this increase is not impressive enough. So they came back to write for the leads, with a cliche plot-amnesia. All to blame is the poor writing, not the actors.

Lim Ju Hwan and Lee Ha Na are known for their emotional and professional acting, and if you are watching Episodes 28 & 29, you can see how they performed the pain with their teary eyes, though the screening time was limited. Their chemistry may be up and down during early episodes, however, this couple is deserving of more respect.

On the  scene where they were doing the gift exchange. I am pleasuringly puzzle why the ceo was so hesitant to close his eyes why so eun ask him to do it. For a brief moment when they eying each others while drawing or writing on the ? cheek. ? what joy, it's pure love. It was pleasant to watch  it. On the preview, while so eun sitting, the ceo walk in. ? KBS did an excellent job of not showing his head  until his sitting was really good. I think this was my favorite moment of the intire eposide. Kim eun so not looking up until she realizes a familiar voice. I want to state what the ceo said that thanks everyone coming over the weekend related to work. I am ceo & stated his name.wow! I love this guy. He has calmed , mature, great manner & very caring. Man ! When I grow up I want to be just like him.

Let's talk about the first ? couple( main characters) I honestly haven't pay much attention.prior to the marriage they fight went separated way. Now with the out of wedlock situation is popping up it will be very curious how Lee Ha Na will react. I am not sure what the intention of the birth mothers appearane is at this point given her sons age. It is increasingly interesting. Min sung work should never shift of the ? money regardless.This attention with his sister is actually getting interesting.

Third couple, professor & young ?. It brings smile just about it. The professor, her head says " No way Jose!" Her hearts says," I love ? you to death sweethy."sweetheart.. For now she is not letting her heart ♥ over riding the the heart. She is afraid she may not able to handle. This is one of those people self control at all times. It explains why her drinking let into one knight stand. What a joy I really look forward to comming episodes. Yahoo!

Since they chose to deliver the roles this way based on their interpretation of the characters will give them the support though lsj seems like trying too hard to sound like a top actor with his constant reminders of coz I am lsj and his exaggerated speech

2nd couple- fiesty female and wooden ceo provide stark contrast and of coz the male lead is very experienced and good actor and kudos to the sister too for putting in her best. They own the roles and you don't wish they were played by other actors.

3rd couple- bit na is really well cast and look forward to seeing more of her.

The second couple have the big age difference but their chemistry is superior. Both actors know how to elevate the mediocre script - they are naturally flirting, have common things shared together. Their acting are also better than the main.

The third couple, also another couple with big age difference but have the sexy chemistry. The nature of their relationship is problematic and complicated but seems like writer decided to use pregnancy as a way to resolve this.

Angie Dec 26 2022 8:35 am I think the "amnesia" thing in K drama will be present in this drama. But what kind of amnesia will it be...total amnesia meaning no memory at all or partial memory loss? This drama is only on it's 29th episode, a long way to go so I guess if the female lead suffers from amnesia, we will see it for least 10 episodes.

Also, I think Sang-Joon is not Ji-Woo's biological father and Young-Sik knows but he didn't tell his aunt (Sang-Joon's mom) because he is getting a revenge. Remember he burned a DNA result stating "does not match"? I think Young-Sik had a DNA test between Sang-Joon after the child was born and turned out to be negative. I hope Tae-Joo won't have an amnesia and hope she can help reveal the truth between Sang-Joon and Ji-Woo.

As for the second sibling, I think the CEO will now know who Nam-Soo in the life of So-Rim is and will have his daughter break-up with Nam-Soo. Ji-Hye will not be against the relationship of his father and So-Rim so eventually they will get married.

Sorry to say this but I hope Gun-Woo won't end up with Hyun-Jung.

Of course, kdrama being G rated, I wasn't expecting her ended up in one knight stand. I wish this portion of drama was French.oh my he will be engaging her so intensly she will be screaming top of her lung of pleasure and enjoyment. On the preview, li looks like she maybe ? pregnant. Her only reaction is wide eyes. I love her reaction.i know her first question to the doctor, are you sure?. Her relationship with her doctor should be interesting. I believe her doctor is her brothers wife. I hope kbs doesn't drag this to several episodes. Questions#1)what's going to be her relationship w/ him? #2) would she keep the ? baby? 3#) the doctor how she going to keep the information confidential?I love to see more of screen times on this couple.

The next couple the ceo and kim so eun .woe! She was tenacious. She obviously read his feeling very accurately. The ceo I really like this gentleman. He very refined if you will. He is very caring. As much as and genuinely as he like her he truly believe she deserves someone younger than him. He didn't announce his job tittle. When she was drunk he knew what she was going to say about him.He stopped her from saying it. Wow! What a gentleman. I love to see her intense love making with him.

The writer may have her scripts for about 10 first episodes which were focused on the main leads' story line. However, because its unbalanced for other line-ups casts, which should be a reason causing low ratings. Thats why they have made some editing which are turned to be a little bit rushing. SR and MY couple are lovely sometimes, but a CEO at his 50s acting innocent and nerd is actually not convincing. The youngest couple has no chemistry, they are likely forced into the romance. I'm personally fond of the eldest one. They are matured enough to trust and be protective to each other, but still passionately growing their relationship as married couple. Its bad that their screen time has been cut off recently, yet I think they will be back to lead the development of this drama. Hope so.

The disappointed part for me is that the middle sibling played by beautifull Kim So Eun matching up with Kim Seung Su who is 18 years her senior. I like him in dramas but this goes a little too far. I know this is like Hollywood thing but in S. Korea it seems so far fetched. Also, what the heck do they keep buying pencils and pens!!! They aren't writers or artists so this hobby really is unrealistic. I can see if it's got to do with cosmetics since he is a CEO of skincare company. The youngest sibling falling in love with his 1st crush who is 10 years older and his college professor and photographer. Still age difference is a bit off. The two mothers are very different but entertaining. Love the father's personality of being loving and understanding dad. Overall, the drama is good so I plan to keep on watching.

Three female characters I really like: Taeju: unconventional beauty with good heart, Sorim: loved Kim So-Eun inThe Horse Doctor (still cute as ever), and Hyungjung: loved Wang Bit-na in Young Lady and Gentleman, but happy that she will end-up with a good man here, the two dramas she portrays a beautiful, gentle and kind person.

I mean two cheaters is more than enough, but I guess the writer knows better. Also the age gap between the younger siblings and their future partners is so unnatural. I know there are many people who date order partners but they just don't match. Especially So Rim and the CEO. She was dumped. Shouldn't she be careful about starting a new relationship after being hurt. Also their hobby is so lame. Who buys tons of pencils or whatever pens every other day. Doesn't make sense. I work in the office and use just one or two. Also the youngest of siblings and the aunt don't seem to be a good pairing. What's with this concept of huge age gap between lovers. I don't get it. On the other hand I really like Sang Joon, he's a sunshine. And Tae Ju's dad

He has no idea how to deal with his selfish mom and mean sister. He easily broke his promise and said sorry for that only. TJ's love is passionate and bold, just like the title, but she should have some self-esteem enough to make SJ realized that she suffered from his mom's attitude.

Gun Woo's crush on Hyun Jung is like pop out from nowhere. Though the Auntie HJ is nice and elegant, I dont get it if she ends up with the beyounger brother of her nephew's wife, except that TJ breaks up with SJ. It may be not the case.

Sorim and MY are cute, fresh and light up the mood of the drama. Its at least naturally happened.

BTW, never known that Lee Ha Na is so good in kissing.

Yes, the looking of Lee hana in Tae Ju roles is not amazing as other leading actresses, but that's her unique appearance. I found LJH acting good, no matter some comments said he exaggerated the emotions. The main couple sadly have no chemistry, together with lackluster acting. They are just not cut for family themed drama, but even in mini series romcom they will not deliver. Worst pairing compared to the previous ones. Their bad acting are one of the main reasons for low rating.

And a few days ago 100 lost their only child at a Halloween Party, 8 years ago in the ferry. Can we not see a drama where each family isn’t trying to get rich or steal from each other over the match? Fiancé can’t manage a loan as a doc but bride’s elder sister can give her house? Unfair treatment of family in an almost sadistic way it just too cruel. Society allowed to do the same because of family make up or money?

Yes, leads are experienced actor/actresses and it’ll give you a warm feeling while watching. A refreshing spin from other action-packed dramas as well.

But Lee Ha-Na and Lim Ju-Hwan are older and uniquely attractive as we get to know their character. I always root for those that aren't born perfect, odds against them, but in the end, by their integrity, goodness, and don't let others cruel words and actions destroy them, they win and end up happy.

Nine Oct 14 2022 2:48 am This is just my honest review. I don't like how Lee Hana acts in this series. It's just so awkward. Don't get me wrong, I really love her, especially in the Voice series. Also, I've watched most of her dramas and it was great. But, this is a big no-no for me. I can't feel the emotion whenever she's happy, sad, angry, etc. Also, in the ML, his acting is so exaggerated. Hanz Oct 04 2022 6:07 pm The main couple is seriously the biggest issue on top of the writer. The couple have no chemistry and have lackluster acting, especially from the female lead. Lee Hana was decent in Voice series, but she lacks of screen presence, and is just too serious for romcom. Overall her acting is just bad and monotone. In several scenes she was supposed to show her sadness and crying, her expressions were so bad too, she was like smiling while crying, so creepy! Lim Ju hwan was okay but still overacted sometimes. He lacks of male lead presence, besides not suitable to act as a top star. The other characters on the other hand are added merely as their accessories, even though some of them are more talented.

Going to watch for few episodes more to see if this drama gets better.
