A story of the endless desires and struggles of 3 women at UNI Home Shopping.

Woo Hyun (Kim Ha-Neul) works as the host of home shopping show. Her record as a shopping show host is neither good or bad. She aspires to become the top shopping show host, but she experiences a fall into a bottomless pit. This leads her to change.

Gi Mo-Ran (Lee Hye-Young) is the vice-president of UNI Home Shopping. She started her career as a regular employee and worked her way up to her executive position. Her success story is legendary to other people. She doesn't allow mistakes and she doesn't show what she thinks, but she has charisma.

Bae Ok-Sun (Kim Sung-Ryoung) is a top host at UNI Home Shopping. She was born into a high class family. She is generous to others and she is respected by employees at her company, but what she really thinks is veiled.

The blurred lines between protagonist and antagonist keep you guessing, and the well-executed ending ties the complex plot together perfectly. It's a gripping, edge-of-your-seat experience.

Park Min Mar 07 2024 5:13 pm It's not a good sign when a drama start off on the wrong foot. In this case, we had a poor opening and an equally poor introduction to the story and the characters. Which is unfortunate because earlier parts made it seem worse than it actually is. However, later parts had their own set of problems that were too glaring to ignore. Pacing problems were noticeable after 5-6 episodes. It would have been much smoother watching experience to have the three female leads stories to fully run in parallel. The lack of sensible direction made the drama jarring. At one point, the FL's family was prominent in her life and then they were completely shelved off. Most of the side stories were poorly managed, they started out of nowhere, ended up nowhere and their inclusion did little to nothing. The rivalry within the company and the work environment, which occupied most of its runtime, were all uninteresting in the slightest. With all that being said, after long mundane fights between the three leads, some comebacks were enjoyable but that's where the enjoyable part ended.

The camera angles as well ♡ especially love woo hyuns character arc, so fun to see her scenes with shin ae and Ms gi bc the battles are so satisfying hahaha I also wonder what hyun is rlly after right now.. I can't predict the ending and who will win ?? Wahhh this show drives me crazy sometimes with all the crazy acting daebak mo ran and ok sun is as breath taking.. love women power drama soso cool

Taehyung Apr 16 2022 12:41 am It only depends in the viewers taste. There are veiwers like a Rom-com (light and funny) to ease there mundane day or week. There are viewers like to watch medical dramas, actions, suspense, legal and youth oriented dramas.

I think it all boils down to viewers preference.

Unravelling of past secrets, what's brewing in the cauldron now...keeps me on the edge of my seat. Definitely rooting for Season 2 if possible. All the female characters are wonderful in their own way, truly drawing on their experience in kdramas. Must Watch??

Herlinda Marlina Mar 17 2022 12:41 pm I not really planing to watch it because i don't know any single familiar actress/actor, beside one of that i recognize as Goo Joon Pyo Mother, (sorry for my poor knowledge, i'm not really follow kdrama except few), but somehow when i turn my TVN in my tv cable, i give it a try for first episode with no expectations at all, and it turn that i really get mesmerized by how story flow and deep the character was, and it's really movie that feel like taken from women point of view and it's slow paced but somehow give you some of sort adrenaline rush that made you wanting fo more...

I know the episode that airing just beginning of the drama, but i do really hope that they can maintain this great quality, i love the drama cinematography that feel *elite*, and remind me with Turkish A-tire drama that i used to love.

I'm really recommend everyone to give it a try for this drama, it's get high quality, and all the main lead really do great job, and they all really charismatic women.
