Follows the life of poet Yun Dong-Ju (Dec. 30, 1917 – Feb. 16, 1945). He was eventually imprisoned by the Japanese government for being involved in the Korean independence movement.
Notes
- Filming began March 21, 2015 in Goseong, Gangwon Province, South Korea and finished April 25, 2015. The last scene filmed took place at a prison set in Jeonju, South Korea. The scene involved Yun Dong-Ju (Kang Ha-Neul) and Song Mong-Gyu (Park Jeong-Min) forced to give their signatures by Japanese detectives.
