Totei University Hospital has built a massive deficit. Investor Nicholas Tange, whose nickname is Vulture, comes up with a turnaround plan for the hospital. His plan implements restructuring and cost cutting. By Nicholas Tange’s request, Michiko Daimon (Ryoko Yonekura) begins to work at the Totei University Hospital again.

Mara Jul 30 2021 4:52 am The first three seasons were engaging. As the series wore on, it became predictable and tiring to see Daimon Michiko display the same whining, smirking and childish behavior. Seems like there wasn't a plan to develop her character. I'm glad though that there were some characters who returned in the subsequent seasons like Doctors Kaji, Hara and Ebina. As always, Dr Hiromi Jonouchi is always a joy to watch since she balances the scenes with Michiko, especially when the latter starts acting immature. Despite these, I'm looking forward to watch Season 7 to see how everyone handles situations brought about by the current pandemic.

Those clips where Daimon lives in the mountain are probably from the Doctor-X special released in 2016.

For the one with Akira's money, in season 4, he hid it in his locker room at the public bath. And there's also a scene where he counts money under a blanket(?) and says to Daimon that he is feeling unwell to give him an excuse to count it, but I did forget when this was.

And Akira is portrayed to love money and Daimon is a, in her own words, "a surgery idiot" (good with surgery, the rest not so much). He would probably be able to hide it. About the dream hospital for Daimon, nothing says if he will pursue the plan or not, but I'm assuming he won't.

For the training to become this skilled surgeon, there is a flashback scene at the end of season 3, but I don't think that it's really enough to satisfy. And, yeah, we all want to know more about Daimon and Doctor X, but it would seem like they never really touched on upon it after season 1. I do wish that there will be a season 7, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Japanese dramas usually only have a single season, and this one has been going for 7 years with 6 seasons + 1 special.

At the same time, I'm curious where Akira hide or where he save so much money but they only lives like they didn't spend it right! Is he still in plan in his dream Hospital that didn't need to rely on Japan medical club, something like that?

I also want to know Daimon back story, her family story how she train to become like this genius and I hope someone from other country fly all over to Japan only search for Doctor X and Japan Medical community will be shock 'coz she is the only one who could save a non discover cancer. And the revelation of Doctor X herself.

Want to know the back story of that picture as well

Other aspects like the plot and the character dynamics are better, tho. It's nice to see more less-clichē female characters like Director Hamachi and Ruri the secretary
