jia Jul 30 2024 10:27 pm wonderful movie. one of the best movie ive watched this year. the story is so powerful and emotional for me especially the mother daughter storyline. i cried a lot at the end. beautiful scoring n cinematography. kudos to tangwei, what a great actress.

Suz Jul 30 2024 10:26 pm Very interesting concept & will probably be a reality some day. I loved how the mother, grandmother & little girl’s story played out. I didn’t understand why Jung-in had such a hard time with Tae-joo after he came home. He seemed very sweet except for the time he brought home a crowd of people who partied into the night. She accused him of starting a fire & he said he didn’t. Well, did he or didn’t he? And if he did, why? She said he was mean, he seemed believable when he sincerely said he wasn’t & then asked how was he mean. Then he said, okay, I’m sorry. Then Jung-in said, no, I was mean. Also, why would Tae-Joo be upset that she used the AI program while he was in a coma? It seemed, to me, that it proved that she loved & missed him so much.

However, the movie has one main flaw. The beginning is confusing because it jumps straight into the characters' lives without explaining the system that allows them to communicate with the deceased. This makes it hard to follow the plot until about halfway through. A clearer introduction to the system at the start would have made the movie much easier to understand. , "Wonderland" is a touching and creative movie with a unique concept and a great cast. Although it starts off confusing, it delivers a powerful and emotional experience that stays with you after watching it.

In my perspective, the movie showed the pros and cons of using AI, highlighting the possibility of future scenarios where users can reunite with deceased loved ones through video call services. This is a realization that someday AI might do more than humans since humans have the most control over developing progressive AI inventions.However, despite the rise of advanced technologies and the use of artificial intelligence, it cannot replace the deepest and innermost longings of human beings. There are just some things that AI cannot do, which only humans can. Nonetheless, artificial intelligence is a big help to us, but it has its own limits that we should be aware of and use properly.Overall, I was amazed by the whole story! Wow, the writer really expanded her creativity and work. It's worth watching and will leave you with questions, conclusions, and great realizations. Good job to everyone who made it!
