Hyun-Soo (Huh Yi-Jae) is university student who is smart and bright, but has lived through a tragic past. Her father died in a motorcycle accident and her mother suffered brain damage in the accident. Hyun-Soo dates Yoon-Ho (Shim Ji-Ho) and they decide to marry. At first, Yoon-Ho's mother, Young-Ae (Choi Myoung-Gil), opposes their marriage, but relents. After their marriage, Yoon-Ho and his father get into an accident. Yoon-Ho's father dies and Yoon-Ho goes missing. Hyun-Soo's mother-in-law moves to another country without telling Hyun-Soo, but the mother-in-law is unaware that Hyun-Soo is pregnant.

Years later, Hyun-Soo and Young-Ae meet again.

me too, nado, me too, nado Feb 14 2024 8:40 pm epi 37 am enjoying this drama very much bit cliche but the plot is interesting so far theres one thing thats bothering me most of the time the lead female is shown on hot pants a lot of times and am wondering why they have to do this i know she has pretty nice sexy legs but the role she is playing here is of a good nature modest sort of innocent girl that have nothing to do with sexy hot pants hahahahahahahaha but maybe its cz the weather here its been atrocious for the last months we had 3 meters of snow everywhere so i can go nowhere and lots of cold rain very depressing so i can guess this doesnt go along with hot pants hahahahahahahaha

Park Min Mar 11 2023 1:14 pm I feel like they had to cut it short because of how messy the last few episodes. Not a fan of the ending, actually bad. Not a fan of how they decided to stir the story, actually wasteful.

steve Mar 14 2017 1:43 am I'm starting to like this better than "First Love Again". This show is making Taehwa sweat of being found out for all her evil doings. FLA has Hajin being tormented by Minhui throughout. There's no sense of comeuppance for BM.

Mike Jan 21 2017 4:41 pm Ok, I just finished watching the last 10 minutes or so because I was channel surfing, waiting for the Australian Open to resume after a commercial break. Still in the ridiculous part of the script where Kong Hyun-Soo is still as gullible as before and gets locked in a storage room by Kang Se-Ra. Why, again, is the puppet master the smartest person on the block? Does not Kong Hyun-Soo have any intelligence at all? If Kang Se-Ra needs her samples, let her get them! Isn't she the one who forgot them anyway? Restroom or no restroom, let Se-Ra retrieve them herself. Again, how is she going to continually come up with silly solutions to keep Hyun-Soo from seeing Eun Young-Ae in the same building. Going off the deep end with this plot, and it seems that it will be going on for a long time, considering the number of episodes left. Still waiting on the Han Yoon-Ho miraculous recovery and how that's going to be explained, too.

Mike Jan 12 2017 2:30 am Why do the gullible characters have to be so clueless while the "villians" play puppet master? How can Sang Se-Ra keep Kong Hyun-Soo from meeting Eun Young-Ae while they're WALKING THROUGH THE SAME BUILDING and apparently headed to THE SAME DESTINATION??? How can writers come up with such elementary school over-dramatization - dialogue between Ma Do-Jin and Kong Han-Sol - Ma Do-Jin: "What is your father's name? Kong Han-Sol: "His name is. .." but before he can say his name, Kong Han-Sol's grandmother calls him before he can say it? How is there realism in a scene that has Kang Se-Ra talking to Eun Young-Ae one second and then talking to Yoo Mi-Ran the very next second as Kong Hyun-Soo approaches? Suggestion - try adding a time lapse in-between! And then, there are the characters that appear out of thin air! These are absolutely baseless attempts to try and create suspenseful moments that defy logic and common sense. I know that it's television and supposed to be for entertainment, but there are times where it has to be believable to be good. In other words, it comes off as a script written for a high school play. Yes, I'll probaby be giving up on this one sooner rather than later.

Mike Jan 10 2017 1:51 am @Impressed That's all great but I am at ep. 26 and have yet witnessed the return. Being really pessimistic because of other Korean dramas that have weak plots, I am waiting to hear how Han Yoon-Ho was, first, able to survive the initial accident-at-sea and, secondly, how it is that he only now returns after 7 years and 9 months. Depending on how believable or how ridiculous the reason is will probably the deciding factor on whether or not I continue watching or giving up on this drama.

Impressed Oct 18 2016 2:20 am Yun Ho's return as Lee Woo Jin in the revenge plot has increased the viewers interests and has garnered much attention. Yun Ho shows a lot of emotion as he experiences pain and heartache knowing that he can't return to the family he loves so dearly. What makes Yun Ho's character so unique is his ability to convey his feelings to the viewers so effectively. As the revenge plot thickens, and his true identity is revealed to everyone, will he be able to avenge his father, SH's father, and Hyun Soo's father? With all his sacrifices, Yun Ho deserves happiness in the end!

Luvkd Aug 05 2016 5:56 am I posted this on another website and wonder if any one else agrees with me. DoJin’s mum’s acting is so OTT. Such exaggarated expressions and hysterics. I’m surprised the family (including her ex husband) let her get away with her actions. Its actually laughable!! Watching kdramas is really an addiction cos its always the same cliche scenerios…. aggressive in-laws, love triangles, feeble dim witted heroes or heroines until they wise up in later episodes, obligatory slaps, walking against traffic lights or in a daze and the list goes on. Do the script writers attend the same school? Hahaha. Sorry just having a frustrated moment with so many revenge dramas currently airing!!

Impatience Aug 02 2016 3:54 pm Will The main female lead's character ever become stronger? What will it take to change her expressionless face and low self confidence. Will it be her son's serious illness, the return of her husband, Yun Ho, or the fact that TH's responsible for her father's death. Hope there'll be a change soon. There are single moms out there that are opposite from this character. They are INDEPENDENT, strong, self confident and stand up for their rights; and they don't take "crap" from anyone. This is how they survive in this world today!

whitewolf Jul 31 2016 2:32 pm Overused naive and weak characterization for a female lead. Nowadays, when you get slapped you fight back or at least stand up for yourself. She just lets other people get away of doing her harm. Once is enough twice is stupidity. Also for Do Jin & similar characters like him, when you don't like someone you keep your distance from them so as not to give false hopes. Likewise, when you witness someone you care about gets bullied or physically hurt by others do you just shout at the other person to stop? No, you make sure you prevent harm getting into that person & if necessary use force against the other. In this day and age, there are less martyrs and more independent and abled to defend themselves type of women. Weak and overly naive types are of the past and for me are annoying to be honest. It's like you feel telling them they deserve what they get for not having the confidence to stand up for themselves when they are wronged by other people.

Disappointed Jul 27 2016 4:15 pm It seems like Chun Tae Hwa and Kang Sera are the main characters of the drama now. They dominate the screen. Sooo sad that the villains always get the upper hand and the innocent and good people are the victims. Hyun Soo portrayed as a weak, indecisive person. How did you raise your son as a single mother? You should be strong, self assertive and a self starter. Why do you allow yourself to get trampled by Sera!! You will never survive in the competitive world of fashion if you don't change!!! Both of your presentations were so weak!! You should also treat your mother better!! Why don't you believe her when she tells you she saw Yun Ho!!!! So disappointing!!!

sophiagarcia Jul 22 2016 5:05 pm i love this drama. Hope the excitement and the quality of performance could be sustained until the end being a 120 episoder. The Granny and the four mothers and the aunt are outstanding. They are consistent with their individual characteristic. The Granny is fun yet sticks to principle. One mom, my favorite, is funny, clumsy, tactless and always gets into trouble. The other is evil and hateful, looks like a witch with her red lipstick and fuzzy hair I want to pull out. The other is intelligent, dignified, righteous and morally upright. The last mom is pitiful yet adorable in her childlike state. She is the most loyal of them all. I like her bonding moments with the grandson. The aunt is childish, practical and funny. I like the wardrobe of the moms 1, 2 and 3. The younger ones, ( except the super handsome Do Jin, who makes me starry-eyed whenever he appears on-screen, but is also consistent in his portrayal ) still have some growing up and internalizing of their roles to do to catch up with the senior ones.
