Michi Yoshino (Nao) is a 32 yearold OL, who works for a construction company. She is married to Yoichi Yoshino (Eita Nagayama). They have been married for 5 years. Yoichi Yoshino is 37 years old and he works as a cafe manager. He's not good socializing with people and he avoids having relationships. He does love his wife Michi and she is the only person he feels comfortable being with. Although they have a solid relationship as husband and wife, they haven't had sex in two years. Michi would like to have an intimate relationship with her husband again, but, every time they are in that moment, Yoichi avoids the situation because he feels pressured.
Meanwhile, Makoto Niina (Takanori Iwata) and Kaede Niina (Minami Tanaka) are a married couple. Makoto Niina works at the same construction company as Michi Yoshino and works as her boss. He is respected by his colleagues due to his excellent work, having good manners and being known as a devoted husband. His wife Kaede Niina works for a fashion magazine. She has been recently promoted to an associate editor position. Kaede Niina is devoted to her career and she often rejects her husbands sexual advances because of her work. Makoto Niina is not happy with their love life.
One night, Michi Yoshino feels lonely and drinks a can beer alone. She sees Makoto Niina, who happens to pass by. They decide to drink together and she tells Makoto Niina about her sexless relationship with her husband.
