Taeko Hamaoka (Mayumi Wakamura) is an ordinary housewife who lives with her husband Yoichi (Makita Sports) and son Akira (Daisuke Nakagawa). She spends her days taking care of her family and working part-time at a supermarket. Recently, Taeko Hamaoka has felt like someone has been watching her. About two weeks after she first felt like she was being watched, Hayato Saijo (Yuki Tokito) appears in front of her and introduces himself as a staff member for famous actress Kinuyo Wakana’s (Mayumi Wakamura) management office. He tells her that she has the same face and voice as actress Kinuyo Wakana. Hayato Saijo asks if she would be willing to act as her stand-in for an apology press conference over a scandal. Access Kinuyo Wakana has gone into hiding abroad because of the scandal.
