Ish May 01 2023 9:03 am It looks like an aesthetic essay. While I appreciate the effort and quality of the sets and acting, it's not for me. Not today, but maybe when I was a teenager.

melai Jul 15 2022 10:45 am this 4 ep. hits different. why? first, talks about how effort and sacrifice work together, effort made by a daughter just to make sure that her dad will not marry the woman she didn't like and the woman noticed that effort so she sacrifice coz she knows that what that daughter feels (woman empathy). second, the collector tells the cliché of one way feelings, when you are ready to sacrifice and gave everything to somebody, yet that somebody feels freedom and self-love on her own way, coz she is confused with the true definition of true love tells about self love and boundaries of when and where to give everything. third, tells about the freedom of maturity, its the realistic of how we discover life, by taking risk and what could be the result of that risk which is the stages of usual teenage stage..experimentation and discovery. and the last, tells about the regret and hope.. it open up how our regrets tells that we should value the one who stays by our side when they are still physically available and and you'll surely realised that when its already gone.. well they always said that " you don't know what you have until its gone". all in all, IU portraits it all sooo well.. i love here versatility.

Mia Gretha Feb 12 2021 10:34 pm Wah! I watched all four but absolutely nothing impressed me. Even the "Collector" scene gave me goosebumps. All of these story plots are so many parables and stories that I can't understand them. What I know is that IU's role here is really very good.

lol no May 12 2020 1:33 pm I am still confused as to what happened but it got me intrigued. I think this kdrama(if you can call it that) is really different from everything else and it shows just how good IU is at acting. All four stories are so different from each other yet they all focus on lips. First episode-she was eating a peach. Second episode she was kissing two different dudes. Third episode she was smoking. Last episode she was talking about how she didn't want to die with her mouth closed. Overall, really interesting, you can just binge-watch it all since it is very short. I recommend it.

So Lala Nov 18 2019 3:33 am Over 4 episodes, me personally like "Kiss is Sin" the most. I think it's the most realistic and down-to-earth, but doesn't mean it's ordinary. I think you can discuss it from many aspects. Social, politics, culture, etc. It represent how honest life is in an exact way.

I even imagining the background of the roles. It's a rural city near the beach somewhere in South Korea, and seems like IU as Hanna is a daughter of one of the richest families in the city. With those fancy bicycle, BBQ for lunch, backpack with neon thingy in it. But she's also look like that-child-who-ignored-by-her-busy-parents type, and the two who cares for her is just Hyebok and a housemaid ajumma who pack a BBQ with plastic wrap for her. So she seek for companion and solace from her poor-background, motherless friend Hyebok, whose house is in the hill in the entrance of the forest.

While Hyebok is just an childlike, a little slow girl with quite poor background, motherless, living with her careless father in their stuffy house in the hill near the forest entrance. She innocently befriends with Hanna, a future rich badass alpha female slash potential psycho.

And if it were Korean Drama, the fire incidents in the ending will be the reason of their broken friendship in the future. And they're gonna be live part ways, and gonna meet again as an enemy or simply strangers whose lives gonna tangled up to each other again.

That's how Korean Drama works, isn't it? Thank God it's just a oneshot in Netflix mini series :)

dave Apr 13 2019 1:47 pm IU's injured knee switched sides in Love, Set. Continuity error I suppose. Between her acting and a great director IU was so so amazing in My Mister. This has a similar dark feel.
