In 1453 Prince Su-Yang kills Kim Jong-Seo to eventually become the 7th king of the Joseon Dynasty.

One year before the coup, Kim Jong-Seo (Lee Soon-Jae) is the most powerful liege and the most trusted by King Moon-Jong (Jeong Dong-Hwan). King Moon-Jong becomes sick and his brother Su-Yang (Kim Yeong-Cheol) plots to take the king's throne. King Moon-Jong to ward off his brother, joins forces with Kim Jong-Seo to protect the next king, Prince Dan-Jon.

Kim Seung-Yoo (Park Si-Hoo) is Kim Jong-Seo's youngest son. He is smart, good looking and the son of one of the most powerful families in the country. Seung-Yoo likes to drink alcohol with his close friends. In the palace, Kim Seung-Yoo becomes a teacher for Princess Kyung-Hye (Hong Soo-Hyun).

Lee Se-Ryung (Moon Chae-Won) is the eldest daughter of Prince Su-Yang. She hears talks of an impending arranged marriage for herself with Kim Seung-Yoo and becomes curious about her possible future husband. Se-Ryung pretends to be the Princess Kyung-Hye and takes a class in her place. That is a secret between Se-Ryung and Princess Kyung-Hye. Se-Ryung's first meeting with Seung-Yoo doesn't turn out to be a good experience.

By chance, Seung-Yoo watches Se-Ryung losing control of a horse she is riding. The horse runs towards the edge of a cliff. Seung-Yoo saves Se-Ryung before tragedy ensues. Because of this incident Seung-Yoo and Se-Ryung become close.

Meanwhile, in order to protect Princess Kyung-Hye and Prince Dan-Jong from the king's brother Su-Yang, King Moon-Jong asks Kim Kong-Seo if Princess Kyung-Hye and Seung-Yoo can marry. Kim Jong-Seo accepts and, consequently, turns away Se-Ryung. Unaware of the arranged marriage, Seung-Yoo and Se-Ryung become even closer.

Princess Kyung-Hye is astonished that she will marry Seung-Yoo and not Se-Ryung. She begins to feel jealousy over their close relationship. Su-Yang learns of the proposed arranged marriage and sends assassins to kill Seung-Yoo before the marriage takes place. Su-Yang is unaware that his own daughter Se-Ryung is with Seung-Yoo.

Bagu Dec 29 2025 8:48 am It’s been many years since its release, and The Princess’ Man is still one of the best sageuks I’ve ever seen. The leads have amazing chemistry, and the script makes us truly feel how desperately in love they are. It’s a tragic story, but a remarkable one. The OST is beautiful and matches the story perfectly.

I also love how each character has their own storyline, which makes the drama feel complete. I really hope to see more projects with Park Shi Hoo and Moon Chae Won—it’s been a while.

From me to Ray (comment below me) Jul 21 2025 1:04 am They cannot change the ending because history says that the evil King stayed on his throne! This drama is based on real life (lead couple's existence is debated - but I read somewhere that there's an evidence to believe they were real), the drama was an excellent way in combining and adding what's missing from real history as well as myths/rumors believed about this lead couple whose existence is debated. The King and Queen's aging and getting a lot of sickness at the end of the show is the show's way to show that he's suffering (and I think this is also what some Koreans for years believe that this king has suffered).

Ray Apr 16 2025 5:35 am Great story, great cast. Sadly the ending fell short for me. It was heading in the right direction then... fell apart ! Is missing the episode where the king leaves the throne as paying for his sins but a big NO there ! Main couple didn't age which its fine their daughter seems no older than 6yrs so, it's cool but the king and queen aged 20+ during that same period ! Enough said... I watched it and enjoyed it. if you haven't watched it please do out of 24 episodes 23.9 are great.

Magda Jan 15 2025 1:53 am What an incredibly great drama! All of the actors performance was great! Beautiful! Romantic, Sad, Happy! and great action! Main male character is a great actor, Park Si Hoo, is not only super good looking, but his acting was 5 star performance! As was female main character, Moon Chae Won, very pretty and her performance very moving! The Princess husband that was killed, actor Lee Min Woo was so sweet kind and light hearted, great actor, and so was Song Jong Ho, his role was sad, torn between love of friends and obligation to his father. I felt sorry for him. The princess, Hong Soo Hyun also a very pretty and good actress! This is one great historical Drama, one that I highly recommend and one that I will watch again and again!

Orange girl Nov 07 2024 4:01 am I watched it first time when in collage, and still one of the best historical dramas for me. This drama and The Innocent Man made me fell so hard for Moon Chaewon. And I agree to k drama girl’s comment below that Seryung is actually a strong woman. I really love how the writer and Chaewon herself potray Seryung from the childish and spoiled daughter, to a brave, caring, and stick to her value of life kind of person no matter how hurt she will be. One of my best FLs in the entire kdrama!

I recommend this drama if you want a romeo and juliet type. Kudos to all the artists, male and female lead, supportist actors and the extras, writers, director, producers, etc. All do a great job.!!!!

kdrama girl Oct 02 2023 12:39 am To Alin: Yes Seryung cries a lot but she has shown many times in this drama that she is brave and strong. She did her best to escape her room and try to save her lover. She went out of her way to help her lover's niece. She also protected her lover from an arrow meant for him even though her lover tried to kill her father (this is a sign of great strength as she protected someone who just attempted to kill her family member). When her father exiled her ex-king cousin, she cut her ties from him. She may be very emotional but she is still very brave in her own way. This shows that even women who cries a lot can be brave. Crying is not a sign of weakness.

I liked Park Si-Hoo in Queen of Reversals, he was good here, and when I saw the beautiful Moon Chae-Won, I was hooked, it was worth watching. My only criticism is that SuYang lived and didn't receive punishment, although I understand the point is he lost his daughter, but he still lived and in the end, he sees that his daughter is alive...I didn't get why he deserved a happy ending, but maybe I missed something. It was overall a good drama, loved the ending with the couple riding off into the sunset.

Both hero and heroine roles were very badly portrayed. They did not have any successful plot for them to shine. The villain seems to be the winners who had better role play, intelligent, well strategy on plotting and good at acting here.

Sincerely Fan May 04 2022 6:34 am When this drama aired in my country, my family also watched it. Even the airing was set around 10-11pm. My mother loves it, i was 13 that time. It was a good drama, i rewatched it on cd when i got older, and the ending made me cry.

Contents SPOILER! The ending was a bittersweet ending, atleast for the main couple. I cried so bad when Jong died. I felt so sad for Gong Hye, literally she lost everything, her position, her father, her uncles, her only brother, and even her husband that she just recently loved.

The thing that made me sad the most was their friendship, they were so close but it was destroyed because of the politics conflict between their fathers.

Suyang, didn't die. After all the effort, they didn't get the success they wanted, they couldn't kill suyang. I was so stressed.

But, suyang had his karma, his children either abandon him or died. He had no successor, for his legacy to pass on.

Seryeong's undying and unconditional love to seungyu is admirable. I really like her character. I think she loved him more than he is to her. & She's like Suyang, but better.

I know they made him blind at the end, to end his revenge thoughts and stay with Seryeong. That's why it's a bittersweet ending.

Ive watched many saguek including Dong Yi, Empress ki, METS, Scarlet Ryeo, Moonlight Drawn, Crowned Clown, Master of Mask, Queen Seon Deok, Faith, Queen War & Love, Sungkyunkwan, and many more to mention, and this princess man is my the best romance drama of all time.

princess Feb 04 2021 1:09 am I wish this receive more love than Moon Embracing the Sun (it lacks chemistry among the adult cast, only the child cast did well there). This drama has everything from leads amazing chemistry, to great instrumentals and other music in general to great plots to an amazing cameo of the historical events of the time period this covers.

CarminaCarmina Jan 20 2021 6:57 pm Excellent and intense! One of the top K-dramas on my list! Well thought out and perfectly executed down to the minutest details. Every episode, every scene, kept me glued to the screen. It's one of the few K-dramas on which I never did a "fast forward" or skipped any scenes. It's one of the few K-dramas that really moved me. Having Moon Chae Won, one of my few favorite South Korean actresses (my girl crush!), as the female lead is a bonus!

I would have been more satisfied, though, if justice was served for all the evil deeds of Prince Suyang / King Sejo.

I can't believed that it been 6 years since it was air. I want more of the main leads. I wish that there was a better ending even though it was a happy ending. Why does he have to be blind? Love you guy. The actor and actress did such a wonderful job. My heart was broken so many time and it just hurt.I'm so in love with this drama that I was so sad for a few day. =(=(

Unlike other pairings where their parents just hate each other...just because, this drama's tragedy and conflict is so painful and written to be so heart-wrenching for our couple. The two main couples were not just in it for love, but for principle. And that's what I adore about this drama. They weren't just love-sick teenagers who abandoned everything for their love. But they protected each other's honor and principles through the end!

The story arc of the characters Seung yoo, Seryung, Princess MyungHee, Shin Myeon and Jong were written so well and so complex. It was one heck of a ride, this drama! I've rewatched it about 5 times in full and I reach out to it when I need some angst!

It starts quite innocently like a romcom but goes into full melo mode until you can't just stand to watch the miseries of our leads.I found Gaksital/Bridal Mask to be superb but disturbing (cruel torture scenes) and couldn't complete the show.This is giving me similar vibes but will try to complete.

Performances are first rate (esp Moon Chae won is sensational in an author backed role-i have thought she was cute and pretty but she is so good here as the princess taking on her father the king for her love).OST is a collection of superb tunes.Direction and writing are awesome.I don't personally like tragedy filled and doomed lovers shows but this show is a sight to behold (beautifully shot)

Its not just the leads, all actors and actress in this drama acted so well, it directed and written so well. Even now still gives me goosebumps when I remember the feeling when watching this.

Princess Se Ryung Mar 10 2017 7:20 pm SAD just SAD... all i can say is just SAD... it made me cry so much that the whole neighborhood is flooding with my tears.. I cant believe that I just watched this now.. where was I when this show aired?

gso Jan 30 2017 7:27 am I just finished a marathon of these in under a week (granted, most were watched on a Saturday and Sunday), and while I thought, from the first 3 or 4 episodes, I would be disappointed in this drama (especially having seen several flat out amazing ones), it picked up and by about a fourth of the way through was truly getting good. I was BEYOND sad/upset and frustrated with the antagonist, one of THE most extreme one I've seen in terms of consistently doing the same awful thing over and over, even to the point of pre-emptive strikes (ie pick a good guy to destroy, create a crime scene, and bam, dead)... the methods of destruction were fierce, too, and so much was heart-wrenching beyond belief... BUT they made it very believable and my poor chest and gut just ACHE from the mix of chest pain, indigestion or some similar stomach ailment, and crampy abdominal pain from clenching too much-my shoulders similarly feel overworked!

Anyway, the things that I expected, the cliche ways of progressing the plot that would, if combined/tallied up, would be almost like a Kdrama guidebook/cliffs notes to Kdramas... they were THANKFULLY not overused. They found inventive but not outlandish ways to clearly depart from the "stuff every kdrama viewer expects" and make a new creation, so THANK YOU writer and director and all the producers, etc! The cast were all GREAT. The princess (original one, not the duo who got the title through their awful father) THANKFULLY was only a tiny bit deplorable and only in the beginning. THAT role is almost always one where you end up hating them and only in the last couple of hours or right as they're about to die will you suddenly be given some reason for compassion. The writers here departed from that old trope (AND there aren't, spoiler alert, concubines all over this one, so it's almost not like a Joseon era Kdrama in many respects... it's almost like he's a governor of a precinct given the sheer lack of "other women" for ALL the kings in this show) and made her easy to feel compassion for within a couple of episodes--the survival did make her a bit of a jerk, a jealous possessive one at that, but she did quickly turn back to someone who had a LOT of depth! Even the goofy Jeong Jong was really thought out, and that is usually a character that is very simple and one-dimensional. Of course we end up hating the friend who sides with the bad guys and, a bit like the princess, gets overly possessive of our female protagonist with a very lame excuse of "our dads said so"--had he been fully like the princess and turned around his bad behavior, we'd have very little drama/conflict.

Oh, having just watched, before this, Legend of the Blue Sea, it was an utter JOY to see Lee Hee Joon (Nam Doo in LotBS) playing the "dog biting its owner" gisaeng house 'little hyung' (that title was adorable)! All in all, I agree with the high rating for this. I CAME to it because I had seen Neighborhood Hero and wanted to see more from Park Si Hoo (and I like Moon Chae Won, really adore the actor Eom Hyo Seop who plays the teacher of the three musketeers/Se Ryeong when she gets lessons as herself, and a bunch of others who are here, Choi Moo Sung recently liked as the male coach in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo and suddenly a long-haired, beared gangster leader following them to the island etc... and the more prominent character of Kim Ro Ha, Jo Suk Joo, really truly wonderful-it made me realize I'd seen him in Il Jimae (phantom thief)... anyway, it turned out to be quite a good show.

The one thing I will say on the "warning" side: SO MANY DEATHS. Don't watch if a lot of swords slashing people and bowls of the famous brown poison soup aren't things you can watch a lot of. The sword fights could've been better... clearly they weren't trained a very long time and weren't very experienced, so it was a little awkward and I had to look past how unconvincing the scenes were much of the time (seems like whoever handled those wasn't the greatest choreographer or didn't have much practical knowledge of combat tactics in terms of body motion etc), but it was not the central focus, so I could overlook that weakness without much effort/frustration.

Thanks to the staff and especially the actors and writer for delivering a fresh, different historical drama that, despite a kind of tacky seeming title that made me look past it a hundred times til I got a bit hooked on Park Si Hoo, I thoroughly enjoyed. Thankfully, it is NOT a cheesy romcom sort of show as "The Princess' Man" would imply (honestly, that title makes me think of shows a bit like the current one Hwarang in terms of plot/vibe/focus).

Oh, and to the Justin guy who can't find it in his region, while yes there are box sets of it if you're really insistent, it is on quite a few sites, fully legal ones that acquire licenses from the networks and bring money in as a result AND not-so-legal (but still safe) ones that let you download them, in which case you could put them on DVDs if really bent on watching on a tv screen (and your tv isn't a "smart tv")...

I really love it's plot (the ending is superb, didn't expected that but turned out to be good one), characters (especially the main leads) chemistry is undeniable, and ofcourse the OST. My friend recommend this to me and I'm so happy that I watched this. I'm not really into historical dramas because I always think that they're boring to watch tho I watched some but after watching this my perspective changed. Historical dramas are the best dramas to watch. If you're reading this and thinking to watch this then I'm telling you, DO NOT HESITATE TO WATCH THIS. TWENTY-FOUR EPISODES ARE BEYOND WORTH IT.

Migthy Thor Sep 24 2016 5:07 am It's my second time watching this drama and I just realize that Kim Seung-Yoo has been losing his battle because of his imprudence, recklessness, stupidity and impulsive acts and decision. People he values and loves have died not because Prince Su-Yang is evil but rather he is wise and prudent! He calculates very well the moves of his foes that he is able to counter attack them. Another irritating attitude of Kim Seung-Yoo is that he never learns from his repeated mistakes. No wonder he always loose to Prince Su-Yang. But I admire the love and devotion of Lee Se-Ryung to Kim Seung-Yoo.

There was not ONE boring moment. You really get sucked into the story from the first episode. People say that the ending was bad. But honestly, the writers just wanted to follow the actual history of that king. *SPOILERS* He didn't end up dying and actually brought prosperity to the country. The writers did a good job wrapping it up, though it still left me with a bittersweet feeling because I wanted more happy moments at the end. Overall, really really good drama and I would recommend this even to people that don't usually watch historical dramas because this was indeed a masterpiece. Enjoy~~

Though I cried buckets if tears while watching the show, but at the end there was only a broad smile, genuine smile. I find myself lucky to have see this show. A tragic love story. It was tragic in many ways but beautiful, alluring in many more ways. The poignant love story stole my heart. Love can be so deep and sacrificing, I had never knew. Moon Chae Won as Lee Se-ryung was spectacular. Her performance was mind blogging. On one hand she portrayed the fearless, carefree loving beauty, then on other hand she forced the audiences to cry buckets. She showed that how one should love, how should live. Park Si-hoo as Kim Seung-yoo was also amazing. He beautifully showed himself as the carefree humorous teacher, on the other hand his grip on the angry young man version was also winsome. He showed nice martial arts too. And if we see the couple as whole, then words won't be enough to describe them. They were breathtakingly alluring. They initially showed the beautiful blossoming love, slowly growing into everlasting love. For me, love found new definition after watching this show. Song Jong-ho as Shin Myeon was also a treat to watch. He wasn't neither white nor black, somewhere middle, I guess gray! He wasn't a complete villain, rather a sweet one with vulnerability and innocence. Though he was a supporting lead, he was a must in the show. Other characters were also perfect as anyone can be. The blooming love story among the feudal files was as beautiful as any story can be. It was an adaptation of Romeo Juliet of Chosun Dynasty, and it lived up to the great play . Infact the music was also apt. At last I would sum up with saying that had Shakespeare been alive today, he would have also find this love story as beautiful and amazing as his Romeo Juliet Play.

Malu Nov 11 2015 6:26 am This is truly an epic story. I've re-watched it again since I miss Park Shi Hoo a lot and I was still enthralled and amazed w/ how he acts. I'm happy that he is back. This is still one of the best k drama for me. The chemistry of the two leads are really amazing through the end.. there were no trying hard scenes. It's like you're watching a true story. The emotions emitting when needed are so real. This indeed is a romeo & juliet korean version w/ a better ending since they got to be together. It really could have been better if the king was the one who got blinded at the end lols.

A VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED!!! This is Park Shi Hoo's BEST drama. I've watched him in prosecutor princess and he can really act well. He really has the ability to hook viewers as I've watched most of his dramas. He can do really good no matter whom he's paired up w/.

LUCKY is the one who is going to be paired w/ him in upcoming dramas.

Especially a beautiful performance by the male lead, not knowing wether to love or hate. Nice soundtrack as well (as Korean costume dramas usually have).

lika Apr 25 2015 3:52 am The story is so well directed and all but the ending is really improper..i was mesmerised by the brilliant acting of the two princesses-moon chae won and hong soo hyun..and the whole plot of the story is really interesting..but some parts are repeated over n over again..like they keep on plotting to dethrone the king but it kepps on failing four times and everytime there is some insider who leaks info..and till the end the king rules and has no guilt..so all the episodes come to nothing and so many lives are lost to know purpose with all their powerful sayings of justice coming to nothing..n there are so many silly scenes like when in the 4-5 episode kim jong seo and kim seung woo are bludgeoned,the great military head donot even check if they are dead or make any attempt to completely kill them as if to just lengthen the story..and the funniest scene is in last episode, when king seung woo holds the king by his sword,he first is interested in striking a long conversation with the king than killing him when he had the so hard earned opportunity and I so easily captured by his guards when in other scenes he kills tens of soldiers at once..these incidents make the storywriting so faulty..n though the theme music is really good,the songs are so noisy and high pitch..with a good ending this drama could hav been one of the best period dramas but the ending damages the whole plot of the story and it feels like the drama could have well ended in 14-15 episodes without so much bloodshed just to tug at audience emotions and which contributed=s nothing to the ending

(Because i usually like a cute boy type,) He's so hot that in Prosecutor Princess, if i was Kim So Yeon, i will purposely mess-up the kissing scenes, so that it will take many times to repeatedly take the scenes. His chest, oh my gosh!!. If that's where i fall when i have to jump off a cliff, i will never have a second thought. And when he smiles, oh my gosh again!, the "underwear dropping feeling" really happens to me. He's also one of those actors who can make a very good chemistry whoever actress they are working with. I also like him in Cheomdamdeong Alice, i saw him in his funny side, a versatile actor indeed. But the best of all is, I saw him as the Kim Seung Yoo, in the best historical drama of all time. Maybe if i was SE ryung, i will do the same for this man. I will do anything not to take him away from me. So, for those controversies and the one causing it to him, i dare you. This is absolutely one of the greatest Korean dramas i ever watched. Every of the actor's acting was fabulous, especially Song Jong Ho, who made me want to go to Korea only for kicking his butt :D And one more thing that can not be forgotten is the SOUNDTRACK! the instrumental songs are beyond amazing. I REALLY RECOMMEND you guys to watch this drama. I can guarantee that it will never waste your time :)

At first, I watched Prosecutor Princess and it was soo fantastic. PSH was so cool. I mean he's so hot to be a lawyer ;) and so later on I decided to watch Cheongdamdong Alice, and again it didn't failed to entertain me. It was magical and made me realize that fairy tales do happen in the real world. Then, I watched his epic drama, The Princess' Man, and it was a blast. I was moved by their acting. They were so great. And when I google his name I found out about the issue of rape case.At first, I was a bit disappointed but then I realized that those things were just normal if your'e in Showbiz world. So, even though there are issues about him still I believe on him. Oppa, please come back. We miss you a lot. Fighting!!

Jae Oct 22 2012 11:35 pm i had devoted my time to watch this 24 episode korean drama all in one single non-stop play and had no sleep for 2 days just to simply finish watching this and i had no regrets for doing so though i had severe headache afterwards. the last korean drama i admired was the city hunter and considered as the number 1 drama but upon watching this, I can say that this is better than the first one and admired the cast more.. i just hope that i can personally meet the lead characters and is hoping that ABS CBN will broadcast this here in the philippines and translate it in Tagalog version.... I love the couple much!!!! hope to see you both!

I always wanted a drama or a movie about the folklore that I have heard as a child, which tells a story about king Sejo(Suyang)'s unrecorded daughter, princess Sehee and a grandson of her father's enemy, Kim Jonseo. In this drama, her character was described the same as I was told, the brave and kindhearted girl who devoted love and care to her husband and the executed people by her father. Long live princess Sehee and her love~

Silent Jul 20 2012 3:32 am A very beautifully written drama. The story kept me on edge even though I could not bear watching the heart-wrenching scenes of betrayal and greed. It's more than a Romeo and Juliet story, this drama has a perfect balance of romance and drama- keeping true to the lustful ambition of the royal court in the Josen era.

The actors did really well portraying their characters, they delivered their lines with ease. I highly recommend this drama, unless you're the type that would rather watch something without depth or historical realism and has trouble understanding the complexity of the story line.

In general this drama can be enjoyed by a majority of people other than a selected few.

lee woo Jun 20 2012 1:36 pm one of the best historical show ever, where to begin?. acting direction cinematography, story lines, Chemistry between the lead coupl and between all characters is so gripping and amazing to put into words! i was never a fan of historical shows but TPM changed that thinking of mine .. although im still trying to find another decent historical shows, which i failed to find it,,had tried watching Moon embracing the sun after all the hype . but that show didn't catch my interest, it loses the stream after a few episodes, but with TPM, ur bound to find urself fasten to seat till the last episode... such a strong narrative and interesting plots it has., action scenes are the heart of the show... romance is heart wrenching! and Soundtrack is one of its own kind!

Worth every moment! A must WATCH!

The storylines are so blasé. The main couple are more like a bunch of himbo & bimbo. The scheming geezers are like a bunch of try-hards. An overall waste of acting talents, didn't gain much cultural perspectives here; fine costumes, sceneries & such though.

one thing that makes this drama special is the story is based on the real Joseon history about king munjong,king danjong, and king sejo.

And even the princess man almost perfect, the lead man character, kim seung yu Even he looks like a strong dilligent man full of anger to get revenge, Sorry to say but seung yu seems like more pathetic and weak. I guess it just because even only drama should follow the reality I means, it's impossible for an ordinary man to face a big power of the conspiracy from The evil goverment ... As we know now :D

maia Apr 01 2012 11:41 pm One of the best drama ever! They’ve created a masterpiece out of a typical story. A brutal love story I should say coz of the killings that took place during their era. I appreciated MCW loyalty to his PSH. They love both each other. It’s tearing my heart when PSH strangled MCW at the prison cell for revenge. But later on he’s wavering ‘coz of his love towards MCW. You can also see the friendship among the 3 male characters here. So sad that they are fighting with each other but in the end, they still care for each other. I will be watching this drama again & again.

It still feels like watching it for the first time. This drama is one of the best korean drama of all time (atleast to me)! This also has a wonderful soundtrack! Plus an eye candy ninja assassin Park Shi Hoo. This is actually the first Korean drama that the main lead girl loves the guy more than he loves her. Not typical for Korean drama! So this is a MUST to watch!

The costumes and the story lines in the drama are so compeling. I wish I knew the history of this area better but what a wonderfully acted and set TV drama. I think this is so well written and acted. The chemistry between the actors PSH and MCW; the princess and Jong plus all of the supporting characters. I loved the fact that the women were so strong in character!! Yes, PSH character was impulsive at best but who cannot say that anger would not take over your better judgement after all he went through. He beat death how man times!? EXCELLENT drama! Excellent OST! For those looking, I found the entire OST by googling, look for Alice Chen's upload page! Destino is playing in my mind while I am sleep; Well, when I get sleep! Ending was surprising!

Park Si Hoo is an awesome actor and his depth of emotion throughout the film is amazing. I hope that the writers will write more stories just for PSH. He is so good in this kind of historical setting. No one can take their eyes off him and not feel or understand what he is feeling ..except maybe someone with the limitations of a "bug". Park Si Hoo portrayed a heartfelt, wonderful hero, a real man unafraid to show real feelings and courage.

Keep up the great work, Park Si Hoo. You're soooooo talented, soooooo gorgeous and the kind, humble way you treat your fans shows you are the best of the best.

Bug Oct 28 2011 1:03 am watched this drama as my mom n sis were fans. but find the story-line or plot to be very weak, - the hero is one pathetic fellow who makes ridiculous mistakes in his revenge. his best friend has a much meatier role, which should have been developed properly into a real anti-hero whose angst at his choices which turns him against his friends for both status n girl should have been the better story. Instead we get one weakling who can't think straight and needs to be rescued by his best friend, his girl, his outlaw friends and finally his girl's mother = what a pathetic "hero" goodlooking MCW, lousy plot final episode was a waste of time

I have been in a daze since the last episode I've seen last night when princess Seryeon wanted to ride a horse in the middle of the night, then they ended up in a shed sharing the most beautiful love night. These two were making love, and I'm in tears becos of the unknown. Where are they gonna end up at. Together or someone is gonna die..My goodness, I've had the worst day at work because I just want a beautiful ending to the this very sad and touching story. It really touches me in the worst ways because I just hate to see them die and not together forever. I cried so much when prince Hong was killed....what a show. Thank you so much for giving us this beautiful story to watch...it was all worth it.

iLLusiOnEr Oct 11 2011 5:12 pm This is one of a kind of saeguk drama.Except from the normal charms of this kind of drama,i.e. refreshing music, love and revenge theme, historical facts and value etc,TPM gave me something that rare to see. 1.apart from normal torture in investigation, this show actually depicts how the sentence of the traitor carried-out:the tear-up of the limbs(that'S rare in saeguk) 2.2nd generation aristocrats' pov of the conflicts that forced upon them by their seniors.like the title, we gets to know how 'princesses' handle their affairs in turbulence times.normally its the damsel-turn-queen kind of story. 3.there are actually more than one scene of reception hall where we can see the king consults many/most/all of his minister on his throne.normally they comes to his room and quite a few of them only.

after some regrets of how WBDS turns out story-wise, TPM is my medicine of saeguk's fever..finished it in just 3 days..daebak!

rql Oct 08 2011 10:20 am I just finished watching. I am so sad that it ended. I wish they extend it till 77 episode like Yisan or Dong yi. I been addicted with those 3 historical drama but TPM is one of the best!. I wish both of them can have another historical drama soon. Thank you to the director, writer, all the TPM crews, actors and actresses especially to the 2 great couple Park Shi Hoo and Moon Chae Won. You guys are amazing... He has very good chemistry with all his leads but we personally prefer his pairing with MCW. Such awesome chemistry! We also like him in Prosecutor Princess but somehow We are not drawn to Kim So Yeon, maybe due to us dislike of her character. She is Cheap and Depersonalize herself.

For example: best drama goong 2005 was (Princess Houser) gerat perfect actor:Ju jiHoon and Director... Now The Princess,man 2011 OH is the best Koreans drama with ( PSH) and Director:Kim Jeong-min.
