Nam-Il’s (Yeo Wook-Hwan) friend died in front of him. Since then, Nam-Il has carried heavy guilt over his friend's drowning. He works as a lifeguard along Haeundae Beach in Busan. Kyung-A (Son Yeo-Eun) used to be a promising rookie actress, but she is now relegated to minor characters. They happen to meet in Haeundae and fall in love.
