I loved how well its written ; very masterfully done. So I found myself wondering who the writer was. I will be thrilled to watch her dramas and i found out she also wrote Chicago Typewrite OMG one of the most sophisticated kdrama I’ve watched (my number1 actually for many reasons hehe) and on top of that, she wrote Kill Me, Heal Me! wow! That drama and how way she handled such a dark psychological story while mixing in comedy, thriller, and romance is just amazing, also The moon that embraces the sun ??? Thank you. esbibivon Nov 26 2023 3:57 pm I'm so glad that I researched about writer Jin Soo Wan. All this time, 2 of the greatest kdrama on my list was written by one author. Moon Embracing the Sun was the kdrama that I really love watching when I was young, I remember me and my bestfriend would talk about it at school...those are part of my good old days. Later on, I watched Kill Me Heal Me and it left a really great impression to me. I must say, it's the most well written kdrama for me even after all these years, nothing could beat that drama's plot twists and overall story (it's casts were perfect too). As I grew older, I barely got time to watch kdramas but a friend recently recommended me to watch Twinkling Watermelon. I also just rewatched KMHM and suddenly got curious about who wrote it and finding out that she also wrote Twinkling Watermelon made me more excited to watch it. I'm sure it'll be magnificent just like METS and KMHM. Moon Embracing Sun was my gateway drama to Sagueks and Kill Me Heal Me is in my Top 10 out of the #710 dramas I've watched so far. Your talent is multi-faceted...so diverse in topic choices...And always wonderfully grounded in the philosophies of life. Twinkling Watermelon was yet another tour de force. I found the second leads' romance the most gripping. Our first leads were good, but Yi Chan and Cheong Ah were the centerpiece as well as the heart & soul of this series, as it should be, given how spectacular Eung Gyeol's parents are in 2023. Eun Gyeol's character was also special, but sad to say, the only weakness in this awesome show for me was Eun-yoo's character, who was a bit too self-centered, arrogant and quite smug with him. We all had to wait too long for her vulnerability. A strong empowered woman doesn't always have to be better than everyone else at everything. Loved gramma and All the bandmates. Every scene with them in it was fun. The cameos by well-known actors were really appreciated too. And finally, the music...his guitar lessons with that philosophic 'haraboji' at Viva la Vida music store were entrancing, the band relationships so real and the OST outstanding. I have watched it twice and each time find new layers of characters, themes but especially Truths about human nature, compassion and mental/emotional health. The theme of the pain and confusion of Disassociative Disorder was accurate, however it was also real in it's hopefulness. Thank you for not making Cha Do Hyun a criminal but instead a man who struggles to be decent & responsible. Ji Sung's acting range was brilliant in bringing to life your character. The drama "moon embraces the sun" has everything rolled into one drama. I like it that it has a very good humor despite it being a saeguk. The drama of each actors are so effective that even i, cried so much for them. The action scenes were also not be taken lightly. The love story between the two leads were so inspiring and so heartfluttering. South korea is so lucky to have a very good screenwriters such as you. Hope May 17 2015 10:44 am You did so many things wonderfully well with Kill Me, Heal Me with the well-paced story; humor; themes of forgiveness, love of family and friends, admirable work ethics, etc.; mentally engaging plot... just to name a few. The one thing I would like for you to omit in your next drama is the vulgar and profane language you included in episodes 1, 13, and 18 as it truly took away from the integrity of the story and was completely unnecessary to convey the depth of emotion desired in those scenes. One of the best and most admirable things about Korean dramas is that viewers can typically watch them without fear of being zinged by foul language, nudity, and blatant sex. Your writing was exceptional and the story was so unique. The intertwining of characters and back story made this drama better than any show I've seen in Korean Dramas and I've seen over 200. Every word and every moment in the drama had some significance to the advancement of the story - something rare in most dramas. I'm from the U.
