It is a beautiful Drama that deserves all the success it has had and is still enjoying today. However, the fact remains that she left the end of the story open. The clues are many: Wang So's promise, So Hea's intact memories, the presence of the astrologer. The story ends with full of regrets in the eyes of Hae Soo. Knowing that it's just a fiction, she just followed the timeline, yet for me she's not able to create a wow story, it's a good story. I finished watching the 20 episodes in just 2 days and I'm really into the drama. I have been attached to it to the point where I would put myself in the shoes of the female main character, Hae Soo. I would also cry a lot whenever something sad happens in the drama. It was very great all in all and the ending really broke my heart. I know I'm not the only one waiting for the Season 2 of this drama sir. There was so much development and transition with each character. As a viewer, it can be challenging to stay involved with some many characters and yet I never lost a beat!. This was brilliantly written!! .. The ending was heartbreaking. I hope for a season 2 or perhaps a 2 hour special. This series will forever be embedded in my memory! I've seen it twice and I'm gonna watch it again. Why? because I can't get enough of it and everytime I watch it - it always feels like the first time. I laughed, I cried, I got mad and frustrated at the same time. Scarlet Heart Ryeo is definitely one of the best drama I've seen. I love everything about it and wouldn't want to change anything. NISRIN Nov 02 2016 7:38 am i will find you and i will kill you for that sad ending nchuhae Oct 27 2016 10:07 pm I really love scarlet heart. both chinese and korean version are awesome, but I personally think that the korean version is more captivating and well written. people sure love a happy ending, but after reading about goryeo on some websites, I don't think a happy ending will suit this drama. king wang so married his nephew and step sister (and fyi, later he would had five children with the queen). that's written on history, and since scarlet heart is a based-on-history drama, I think it's not a wrong decision for the writer to give us a sad ending. I still have hope that the korean version at least will give us the bittersweet one, where it gives us hint that even though the main leads cant end up together in goryeo era, they will have another chance in future life. The writer is very cruel, the Chinese version was so much better. From what I saw it looks like it will certainly be a blood bath.
