A man is taken into custody for assaulting a woman. The woman is seriously injured. The needs to attend his father's funeral and he is released, but he runs away. Mariko Sakaki (Yasuko Sawaguchi) supports Detective Kaoru Tomon (Takashi Naito) as he chases after the escaped felon.
