Detective Sakiko Ochiai (Kimiko Ikegami) taps the telephone line at drug seller Masaru Kawada’s (Masato Ibu) home. They discern that Masaru’s son Shuto (Yuma Ishigaki) plans to rob a herb store. Detective Sakiko informs Detective Yuki Kanbara (Kazuaki Ishii) and Detective Kaoru Domon (Takashi Naito).

When Detective Yuki Kanbara and Detective Kaoru Domon go to the herb store, they find the dead body of the store owner. Mariko Sakaki (Yasuko Sawaguchi) and her colleagues attempt to prove that the store owner was killed by Shuto.
