Plot

The members of Emergency Room 24 must deal with chronic lack of manpower, lack of beds, & lack of doctors. Hospitals now often refuse to accept patients leaving ambulances to search for the next hospital in the vicinity. In the fourth season, a bride collapses during her wedding and is whisked away by paramedics. The ambulance then have trouble finding a hospital willing to accept the patient. The condition of the bride worsens, while the groom becomes combative to the paramedic team. The ambulance stops in the middle road and at that time, Dr. Kazuo Shindo (Yosuke Eguchi) steps out of the taxi to assist the ambulance ...

Notes

The 4th season of "Emergency Room 24 Hours" was originally scheduled to air from July 7th, 2009 but principle actor Yosuke Eguchi was involved in a motorcycle accident when filming began. The show was then rescheduled for a August 11th, 2009 premiere.
