Nye Nye May 12 2020 1:55 am The Royal Tailor was a very well executed film. Excellent in many aspect of film art. I think this man is the idealistic type of director who would do films in an outstanding way even if it won't be very popular. But The Royal Tailor manages to capture the senses, the heart, and man's conscience. Though tragic endings do not usually fare well with viewers to make a box office hit, I personally had an appreciation of what this Film portrays as consequential loss. It left me thinking a long while about the whole movie and I realized how each scene was meaningful and some even symbolical - like the last scene where the royal tailor was by the gate waiting for the King to summon him while people on the street were walking in colorful clothes -- but he was waiting in vain, and the dresses of the street passers-by were popularized by his competitor! Character development was superb for each of the four main characters in spite of only few limited scenes that may even seem disjointed. It got me watching it again and the second time made me appreciate The Royal Tailor better. I wouldn't normally do that even with the few films that I think were really good. All Kudos the Film Director. Hurrah!
