Oh Hyun-Jin (Uhm Ji-Won) is the youngest executive at her company. She gives birth to a baby and stays at a postnatal care center. She is the oldest guest at the center for mothers and their newborn babies. While staying there, she meets other women, including Jo Eun-Jung (Park Ha-Sun), and they grow together as adults.

Park Min Jun 13 2023 6:33 pm A fun little drama. Having an entire drama themed around postpartum is something we almost never see in drama. The postpartum club kept things alive while sticking to the theme, rather than spending postpartum at home. It also helps that it was only 8 episodes, otherwise, it would have gotten stale easily. The comedy was decent and kept it light. They actually used real babies which is a must for such a theme. Uhm Ji Won was a great casting choice as the lead mother. I wanted the main couple to have more attention since the drama did a good job starting with them. The other mothers' stories were fine but could've been better.

kay lee Dec 19 2022 6:43 pm This drama is very triggering. I'm only one episode 3 but still. All the stuff that happens to hyun jin as a first time mom is triggering post partum depression. It's sad that mothers are already stressed about being a 1st time mom, but for people to make you feel like you're not a "good" mom just because of whatever reason is dumb. Some parts of this show is made to be funny, but I dont see how those parts are "funny". Im surprised some of the ladies dont have post partum after being in this care facility. From the way they are treated by other moms and the workers there to how vulnerable they already are as a mom. I'll finish the drama and see.

At first I thought it was just a nickname like how some people call their baby "honeybuns" or "gummybear" but then it turned out his actual name was glue stick????? Is there like a hidden meaning. Behind the literal translation??

Bananana Mar 23 2021 4:43 am Watched this drama interestingly each of the episode! I like all the stories about Gluestick's mom, Sarang's mom, Yomi's mom and Sprout's mom although I feel pity for Sprout's mom T.T

Among all of the episodes, I enjoy episode 5 the most! The confession thing, that birthday song played by the Happy man and that bittersweet feeling when the wife knows her husband went to the hospital. And one more thing, the bloopers at the end were really hilarious!!! Anyway, I learnt a lot watching this drama (although I'm just merely entering 20s lol).

This is what happens after and not everybody willing to face it, go thru it themselves, or even just watching it as a fiction. I'm one of that everybody, I'm unwilling to face it in my reality, let alone go thru it. But I willing to watch this. I want to get some insights from the world that maybe I would never enter. And this media didn't disappoint me. This drama delivered its messages, its knowledges, and its morals well. Fair to say that this drama could be a guide book for anyone who's going to make this one big decision in their life. Marital status, married life, kids, works... Even for my solo folks who chose to be stay away from all that. This drama wise.

Great Drama Dec 09 2020 9:44 am Such an underrated but meaningful drama! It tells you a lot about marriage life and definitely the new-mother's life! I like the vibes of this drama. It's soothing but scary at the same time xD

I love how it portrayed the anxiousness, the confusing, and the awkwardness of new parents. I hope there will be a season 2 where the children are in kindergarten or something. I love the analogy of first class and caboose train. It's funny yet so realistic. Good job, writer-nim and director-nim!

Sunflower Dec 06 2020 10:03 am I feel Roo Da confusion about marriage. Gosh this drama is so relatable to marriage couple, and new parents or even parents. This is not about being the most perfect parents, but the stay sane and be the best and do the best we can for the babies and children. Talk it out among partners and ask help. Both parents (father and mother) grow as the children grow. Dont be so harsh and overexpectations of urself and ur children. What ever you do, be there and show them ur best quality. Tell them, teach them what is right and wrong. But dont be so overprotective when they grow up. For parents that has been left their child, dont come back for sympathy. But i guess u might knew no shame. For children with broken family, dont repeat the same mistakes your parents did.

? and sometimes, God mighy not give u child from you. He might willing to give you child from somebody else. Still, you are the best parents.

Being parents is a journey for this small family to fight the world. Not each other fighting among each other.

For us that still havnt have child or our own small family, support others who have by never being 3rd wheel in a marriage, gives moral support, and dont easy to judge.

Still, if u have children that soooo naughty in flight or restaurant or ruin somebody home everytime u visiting, please allow us to scold them or tell u about it. Dont be angry about others people advice, you can take it or u can throw it out. Go go go parents!?

Eventhough it has less episode compare to other great dramas such as its okay no to be okay, Flower evil, Alice, Tale of nine tailed, kairos and Pethouse, Birthcare centre is one of the best drama of this year.

Being a good mother is not being a perfect one but being happy with her child. Mothers are also human, they can feel tired. This drama gives a message that it's okay to feel chaotic when people generally say we should be happy when we have a child. However, pregnancy is tiring, gave birth is cruel, and recovering process is pathetic. Therefore, it is very important to have a supportive social support for a new mom.

It stated how to stay warm and well during the confinement month. The different mothers characters are so real. Love the part where all mummies looking forward to peep the handsome delivery man:-)

It's not easy but definitely worth. I'm a work from home mom ever since and now my daughter is already 2yr 8m. People kept saying you just have 1 child so it's much easier, no it's not an easy job. Being a fulltime homemaker is a much harder than it sounds. It was really really hard at first but I'm glad I did it. I get to be with my daughter for 24/7, I teach her lots of things and we did so much things together. It's fun. I still have a long journey awaits ahead but I'll be okay. For all momma outhere, let's be strong together.

Yes, it will hurt but they are making it more dramatic in this show. There are different things that you can do to help you get through the pain. And you can also take an epidural, which will take the pain away. Most of the scenes at the hospital are way exaggerated, so don't worry
