Follows the life of Jiro Horikoshi, the designer of fighter jets used by Japan in World War II.

Based on manga "The Wind Rises" by Hayao Miyazaki (published in monthly magazine Model Graphix)
"The Wind Rises" will be released on the same day as "Kaguya-Hime no Monogatari," both films from Studio Ghibli.
