Ki Su-Jong (Ha Jung-Woo) is married to Kim Sun (Lim Soo-Jung) and is the head of his family. He manages to pull everything together to buy a building through a loan. Because of this, he is saddled with a huge pile of debt. He is pressured by Kim Yo-Na (Shim Eun-Kyung) from Real Capital. She is a mysterious woman, who was adopted overseas as a child. Ki Su-Jong struggles to protect his building as things keep getting worse for him. In order to protect his family and building, he plans a fake kidnapping, but the situation spirals out of control.

Meanwhile, Ki Su-Jong's friend Min Hwal-Sung (Kim Jun-Han) failed every business venture and investment that he is participated in, but he married Jeon Yi-Gyeong (Krystal), who is the daughter of a major real estate investor, and his life has settled down. He still has the desire to succeed by himself and to be recognized. This makes him do something unexpected.

Jillibean May 01 2026 7:57 am Very intense drama with a great cast and screenplay. Mostly melodramatic with touches of humor along the way. I felt all the characters' emotions vividly. If you like a suspenseful thriller about a family in trouble because of ambition and debt you will enjoy this one.

yeonbunhong Apr 25 2026 8:58 am This was a really original and great drama... until the deeply unsatisfying final episode which was all over the place! Kim Sun was beyond annoying and attempting to frame her in a positive light at the end was ridiculous. For me the real star of the show was Yo-Na (amazing performance by Shim Eun-Kyung) and felt her story was ultimately wasted.

Torian Apr 20 2026 1:57 am Honestly out of all the insufferable characters this show has to offer, Kim Sun is the worst one. I absolutely hate her. I can tolerate the sociopathic Yo-na and the pathological lying,manipulating Hwal-sung but her, no way. She acts so high and mighty when she isn't anywhere near blameless. I only pitied Yi-gyeong even after her horrible decisions. With the way this show ended, there might just be a season 2. Overall my rating is 8.5/10

seyoon Mar 23 2026 7:15 am It's frustrating, not for me. There are series that are frustrating but kept you glued and want to watch the next episode. This one, and it's only episode 4 now, is just frustrating, at least for me. Everyone's being killed, in a frustrating way. I guess it'll all sum up at the end but since it's a weekly drama, I can't binge it or skip to see what's next so yeah, I'm just here venting my frustration.
