Drama series is a remake of the U.S. drama series "Criminal Minds" that aired on CBS from 2005.
"Criminal Minds" is the first tvN drama series to air on Wednesday and Thursday and followed by "Avengers Social Club" on October 11, 2017.
Kim A-Joong was first offered the lead female role, but declined.
First script reading took place today April 7, 2017 at CJ E&M Center in Sangamdong, Seoul, South Korea.
Filming begins April 17, 2017.

Park Min Apr 08 2024 7:53 pm The first case which kick-started everything was good with enough intrigue and stakes to make it worthwhile, however, the subsequent cases were unbelievably bland and generic in comparison. I'm not sure why they went for this route, they usually preserve the big case until the end but here they showed most what there's to it at the very beginning. There was a small follow up to it at the end but not much to consider. The cast members were fine but the drama didn't do a good job building the team dynamic and relationships which added another layer of disconnect with the stories and cases. There's no point in comparing the drama to the source material because it's a loose adaptation.

Maryel Feb 24 2023 9:56 pm Good cast but weak characters, always late to go to the crime scene. It's also frustrating how long every episodes are but can't finished a crime in one episode. Tho.. the slow pace really happens a lot in real life. But still, as a fan of CM, I'm bit disappointed.

Their team manager seriously what the hell was him.he is senior actor but I can't see his acting there were lots of cases where they should hurry up but they were sitting in van and discussing and waiting for next murder seriously disgusting I stopped watching. I started to watch bcz of lee joong gi but he also disappointed me a lit bit.i won't recommend this drama it was so boring and lots of cases were meaning less. Stopped watching. Waste my time

The actors are good but nothing from the episodes are really suspenseful. None that made me jumpy or sort. It was easy to guess too the killer or the suspect in every case.

They did pick the best stories out of the American version but some of them were years apart so I had a difficult time following some of them because I knew that they were not in sequence.

This one is super boring, i watched like 10 episode knowing all the story (iam a big fan of the us version), then jump to 17th to 20th, still borin altho the story was variated more. The character were boring too, i know this means remake but if they didnt want to stick to the original character they should make the new one better. The one suppossed to play as reid and garcia were very boring they have no uniqueness like what the us ver did, also the tean captain lack aura. Iam so frustated while watching this. I give 5/10 for the drama. Sorry.

maria Apr 15 2020 6:01 pm this drama i was hoping for some devlp in each case but there was nothing and the psycologic statement they give before each case was not logic at all they don't show the bright side from they brain they only show their theori and so... i was hoping to see some true action and more fighting spirit all caracters feel as if they don't care about what is happening a true detective should have that fire like spirit to fight and win and go along the way tel they catch the criminal but ther was none i watched the 5 first ep but am going to drop it sorry ... i whished to be much beter than this.

Laura Dec 29 2019 6:00 am For me I'll give 9/10.It's a masterpiece .I have not waatched original series do I cant compare.I never got bored for a second very logical ,characters were very professional .I loved their brotherhood /family like nature.I like whole team of NCI.Technical terms also are described here ,we could learn somethings on human's psycology.Ending was good too.If you are looking for romance then dont watch this ,this has zero romance . But their understanding ,friendship,trust for one another is really beautiful .

xchrmngto Dec 03 2019 6:43 am this drama had so much potential. i was hooked at the first 6 episodes and had many expectations for character development and background revelations for the NCI team. but it was a let down that they passed up so many chances to build their characters and grow as individuals, not just profilers.

also this is the perfect execution of a drama with rushed and half assed ending. at the ending scene i kept mumbling, “how much more they’d drag this to filth? im so over it.” this last case that they were dealing with couldve ended earlier. it was very unnecessary. the time allotted for this case couldve been a time filler for the characters’ development but instead, they wasted it for a criminal they couldve just arrested in the previous episodes. correct me if im wrong but i didnt see lee sun bin at the ending scene?

i also felt like there were so many unnecessary deaths that took place. most of it was very uncalled for. however, there were cases that saved this drama from crumbling, the cases of song yoo kyung (lim soo hyang) and kim min soo (jung tae woo). they were good at portraying their characters.

lastly, a little romance would be necessary. i felt like romance between lee joon gi and moon chae won would add some spice to the drama. up to episode 10, i kept on waiting for some romance action but was disappointed when nothing happened. lol. even for the whole NCI team, i was kinda hoping to see them deepen their friendship but all I saw was a group of colleagues working together to solve cases.

my verdict for this drama: 5/10

kpopandgrime Feb 15 2019 6:53 pm This drama is a masterclass and you will not see many dramas better than this, I must give it to the director and the writer who were very creative (I did not find a single boring episode). The whole cast was amazing and I sure will miss the Criminal Minds squad.

Lee Joon Gi will be forever amazing at whatever he does (there is no suprise here as he was breathtaking in this drama), But once again the star of the show has to be Kim Won Hae. He has become one of my favourite actors due to his versatility and there are not many actors who can play the role of the reaper. Even his voice was suited for the reaper role.

I recommend this drama to all the people out their, it is a thriller from start to finish.

Maria Aug 19 2018 11:45 pm This drama is good if you have yet watching the original Criminal Minds U.S as they copied directly from the storyline, characters and all. It tooks 3-4 seasons in the original Criminal Minds US to build up the characters and their personal life so that we fall in love with their individual characters. Having the wife/exwife of the head of the group killed is so damn heart breaking as we are so already attached with the characters Aron hotchner and to watch the serial killer killed his wife while he was on the phone was so traumatized and broke our heart to pieces. Excellent performance by the actor. And to compare with the korean remake is hard to watch as I already familiar with the cases and it’s only a few episode and I don’t really emotionally attached with the character just yet so it makes me hard to sympathize with the characters.

He such an amazing and talented actor. Also love his energy and athleticism. The suspense is great. The writing is totally amazing. Congatulations on such an amazing production and drama. The other actors and actresses are also very good but what was so unexpected was some of the actors with minor parts were also really good.

i have a lot to say Mar 15 2018 10:47 am just finished this drama and it took me 5 days. the first few episodes are quite slow but okay then ep6-14 sth are totally fine for me, i feel so excited and when toward the end, it's a mess again and totally slow! all the cases are great, but the production make it so slow with all the unnecessary suspenses. the reaper scene is totally out of control and made the nci look so stupid in the last two episodes. i'm upset but tbh i want more, so i wish to have next season. one of the reason why S2 is needed because the casts are really good that they fit the character. just the plot is slow, that's the problem.

But the character did was talk and less action and excitement. And seemed like it feels americanized rather than a korean drama. I was hoping they koreanized it to make it more exciting

Keji Dec 23 2017 3:32 am The drama is great. I guess what each case is trying to portray is that criminals always have a base reason to commit their crimes. Yes, almost each criminal have traumatic pasts and it points out to the fact that there is always a reason for a criminal to kill. But if you watch the drama with very observant eyes (without focusing too much on your biases or expecting less of a romance between two of the leads), you will see the psychological connection of the events. The connection between the criminal and the victim, the criminal's potential future acts and the victim's relation to all events or his/her or faults. I guess this drama just went away from the typical Korean drama series, that's why a lot were disappointed. For someone who have watched endless detective and mystery dramas (American, Korean, Japanese and Chinese...yup, hardcore fan) and someone who have studied law, this drama has a rating of 9/10 for me. Just expressing an opinion here so, haters, don't attack.

Dopey Nov 27 2017 11:26 am Was so disappointed... expecting more for the plot.. eg. they focused from time to time on kang team leader PTSD... was expecting plot where he became psycho and did all the murders...? so his PTSD was so under controlled, so why did they talked about it for 3-4 times?? waste of my time.. yea, the characters were do underdeveloped? gosh.. a disappointment.

Also... all their cases are so boring.. all the murderers have traumatic experiences when they are young blah blah blah.........

I'm so sad...i watched this just for Lee Joon Gi...

Quynh JGstan Nov 14 2017 2:32 am I watched this only because of Joon Gi but this drama seems to be a waste of the great casts. The story line was poor compared to other police/detective dramas. It had too many inhumane crimes/violent scenes to impress audience but lacked of the investigation based on logic and proof. There was a scene where Joon Gi jumped on the wall to get into a house. I was surprised I thought he did it himself so I rewind to watch again. His hair color changed from brown to black while he jumped. It means they used a double stunt but didn't bother to make their hair colors match... That's a mistake which truly disappointed me after all.

hye Nov 07 2017 8:42 am im a fan of us criminal minds so i really have to compare this one to the original series, for someone who watches all the seasons i find this drama disappointing bcs of the acting, the cast are already perfect but i hate how they make moon chae won all gloomy in the drama and she got criticism because of her acting, i knew she was a good actress but this drama made her look like someone who had no feelings at all, even the original cast sometimes fool around but she rarely did it. NEXT THE ENDING IS SO IDK HOW TO DESCRIBE, its not a bad ending *cough* but it is an open ending which left us hanging and i really hate that kind of ending i need to see what happen to each one of them in the future, maybe i was really excited for this drama.and ends up judging every single thing but its my opinion, peace out

Armor Oct 18 2017 9:05 am Love Criminal Minds as a whole. From the 12 US seasons to their spin-offs and now the korean version. In all i love all the actors but i cant help that CM korea is replicating what the original one did from S1-12.I got bored but madde it through to the last episode.There are a lot of problems like they expect us to grab alot of things so fast, I had to rewatch the episode over and over again to comprehend the flow of what is happening. I really hope CM2 will come out with the casts showing how its done in Korea and not straight out copy from the USA one. Its sad that i a lot of people are eager to watch this but became sad as to the short comings of the drama. For me the biggest issue is copying from the USA one. Like we will already know the ending of the episode but again the flow is confusing. In all i really have to give props to the actors what more to Lee Sun-Bin and Lee Joon-Gi for their acting.

The camera work looked outdated and you could easily see when a "scene" was being played too often. It's unfortunate. The director missed the mark on actual camera work. I thought it would change, but I checked later, it didn't. I know alot of work went into this show, but I'm sorry to the Director, but the cinemaphotography was really not good and it became too easy to see it as a production than a story. The actors and actresses didn't bother me, although at first some of them were alittle....rough around edges or something? Anyway. ......

nyl Oct 04 2017 8:51 am Criminal Minds is one of my favorite US series, and I have watched CM US seasons 1 to 12 like thrice and even the CM spinoffs (CM Suspect Behavior and CM Beyond Borders). I got excited when I learned that there would be a Korean remake of CM, so I waited for it to be finished before starting to watch...Then at last when the time comes for me to watch, I was really really excited but then I ended up only up to episode 3..I am really disappointed. I knew in my mind that this would be a CM Korean version/style a little different from the original version but then they could have done better.. and I cannot stand the other main casts, but I love Lee Joon-gi and Son Hyun-joo though (I forced myself to watch until episode 3 because of Lee Joon-gi and Son Hyun-joo)...but kudos to those who acted as villains/criminals they really did a good job.

Duhhh this is a profiling drama...Profiling..Profiling...it has to be detailed...if there will be season 2, please change the other actors/actresses but retain Lee Joon-gi and Son Hyun-joo, at least these two got what it takes to be a profiler..I will give this a rating of 4/10.

For those whole love crime/procedural drama, I recommend this Japanese profiling drama "J - LADY ～Saigo no Hanzai Profile"

We were able to see better profiling in previous tvN crime & suspense dramas..what actually happened to this one?? So if the villian is really that good..isn't the ending too easy and rushed into? Sure hope tvN will be able to get back to the quality they used to have! Well..at least I have not been disappointed by their previous crime stories so far until this one.

Anastasia Oct 02 2017 3:01 am Aside from Lee Goon-Ji and the Sun Hyun Joo, the other actors are just blah blah! Better casting would have helped this interesting series, though there are lots of weaknesses in the stories.

If another series will be produced that is patterned from another series (foreign at that) character development should be considered with utmost detail. Otherwise, it will come really poorly behind the original. The character Go Yoon is supposed to be a genius, but he did nothing but spew information memorized from books and hardly helped in solving the cases. Its the writers' fault, not the actor's. But his drab performance is his fault, no one else's.

Overall, its commendable how this Korean production took a bold risk and not just another drama with predictable outcomes.

I think the storyline at the beginning is very interesting and makes me as a drama lovers want to watch it, but very unfortunate because the end of the story seemed made-up to end it, but there are still some parts of the story that has not finished. I hope this drama continues with the next session with the same main player and a more interesting plot than ever, or it could be added some special episodes, for example discussing the lives of the main player after the capture of the reaper

Reaper was so unrealistic, poorly written character. It was like batle with ghost. Need more backround about him. Just because he is psycho doesn't mean he is capable for everything. Exmpl: Where did he get the money from, the car and everything? How did he learn to hack, bla bla bla. How can a man screw the NCI team? Did he that capable? And what his weakness? Even with his small figure he could beat baeksan and kidnap full grown up woman. Without any backround, can't help but one guess. he was a ghost.

20 episodes are not enough.. the finale is too abrupt.. no character build up or at least settled issues among the main characters. What made them a profiler? How they manage to interact with their family and peers with their kind of work? Not only for team manager Kang but for all of them. We can appreciate them more as professionals and not just a mere robotic profiler.

I commend the actors who played as criminals. You all made me hate you! Great acting! Special mention to Lovers in Bloom female lead. Haha

Action loaded (which is good, especially when LJG goes James Bond style running and jumping around the area in a suit). I like that there is little romance in the work area (coz OMG that would be so Iris). There are some room for improvements if ever the producers decide for S02 (which I doubt).

Hmm honestly when I heard that there's going to be a CM Korean version I got excited(well who wouldn't? c'mon it's kdrama) and because of that I expected a lot. Sadly, I guess my expectations are so high. I mean,the drama was okay, the story is acceptable, the lines are so-so and the actors, some are believable, and some are not. But compared to the US version, it was a bad version. So if there will be season 2, I think the cast should train more and they should work more about the script, so that next time it will be a lot more convincing.

At first i'm a little dissapointed because the main lead that presented Derek (main male lead CM US) has smaller body. Derek is a big, tall, sturdy and has six packs body haha, on the other hand Lee Joon Gi is smaller than him. But it's ok for me because LJG played his role very well. In CM US version, the male lead Derek (played by LJG) will has romantic story (even married) with a nerd smart girl Penelope Garcia (NaNa played by Yoo Sun). I don't know if CM Korea version will have the same plot too, it will be sad for LJG and MCW fans. Anyway, i'm satisfied with the korean version and i hope there will be CM second season! Thumbs up!

Moon chae-won acting continues to be in a plateau disappointing mode. I am so underwhelmed with her character portrayal. While it is true that a profiler's acting calls for phlegmatic/poker- faced persona/wooden, she need not constantly emote a consistently "wall-to-wall carpeting poker-faced persona". She should have explored other ways ( since she is being hailed as top-notched actress) to make her character more interesting.

Prior CM, I often find comments/requests alluding for a lee joon gi and moon chae-won casting in a drama since they are purportedly best-matched. My expectation now is shattered. Let me be hypothetical: if the ljg-mcw drama is a rom-com, will they click and tick to viewers? May be, or may be not. But all I know is: that good acting is good acting. Good acting does not choose genre. I think good actors become prismatically radiant and thrive well in any kind of genre if they give their best positive emotions and signature strengths in the character they portray.

I watched her in "Innocent Man". She did well, but the other lead actress' acting ( in my opinion) is obviously yards better than hers, she got awards tho. Try to revisit the aforementioned drama and the "Good Doctor" and you will find her typical "wooden -faced" acting. Lest I might be accused of being a troll spreading negativity, I will just presume, in fairness to her, that she is good in the dramas that I have not seen yet.

I hope i did not offend her fans with my observations about her acting. On the bright side, i guess she has a very pleasing personality in real life. Her numerous fans is a testament to that.

I am still clinging to the faintest filaments of hope for CM higher ratings.

I don't think the girl (Nana Hwang) who is at the computer searching for the suspects location, doesn't fit in the drama. Her character is a bit random... and Moon Chae Won's reaction when she started screaming felt a bit off. The story feels messy and this is a pass for me.

I've been watching Kdrama for a while now, and i must say they are not as bad as i thought, there are a lot of good drama though. i'll probably keep watching this drama, since its getting interesting now. fighting criminal minds K version. also, for though who haven't watch Secret Forest, Hidden Identity, Defendant, you should watch these dramas, I was hooked from the first episode.

Do like crime dramas and thought patterned after U.S. version, that should be good............................but..........same title yet very different in so many ways. With a small scar/mark, they know the guy is hallucinate about chip planted in his hand.. I mean come on how do you get a clue from that.. Sometimes you can get scar from doing simple daily life..

For a drama is a good plot. But in real life it somehow a little bit....

I got a friend who work with forensic team in police.. Crime scenes are like his playground.. I did show him this drama and he said the is no way you can get a hint that simple...

Personally i liked it, they are solving crimes through tracing or predicting incidents based on the behaviour of the culprit. I want to be a profiler also hahaha! I guess it will be more exciting on the coming episodes and i can't wait. I love romcom dramas but this one i love more though it doesnt have much love story it will give you so much burden to think, analyze and guess the culprits as if ur part of the drama hahaha. Well. I think it lacks suspense and not thrilled at all when you compare to any America crime TV series. I'm not saying the remake is bad but the actors are wasted. Because not a character driven drama. So far I only like the Reaper serial murder case in Ep3 and Ep4 and it was too easy to predict the culprit lol. Will watch the next case in Ep5.

First, I do like the American CM but it's not my most favorite show, However I Adore the Korean one, it's probably because I have seen 119 KDramas and I do watch Foreign tv more than American tv I even know more Foreign actors and celebs than in my own country! That Being said, This show is what they call a Remake Remakes of Anything even films are never the same as the Original! I do However see certain similarities in the Korean one from the American one, but it is different and it's supposed to be different it's made in a different country so of course it's not the same, but it is really really good and well done for a Remake!!! I Rather like how they have done this one and I love the Actors in it and recognize a lot of them, I think this show has a lot of potential and could go more than one season I actually loved every second of it! Job well done!!! Can't wait for more!!!

They just go with the flow. Being played by the reaper. Remind me to old hindi movie where the police officers always come right after the bad guy beaten by the good guy. I can't see any special skill in every of them, even lee han who should be the brain of the team. It feels like they just randomly guessing. Not so theoritical. And what so special about "special protection" if its mean hide you in a random place, leave you alone without even a guard. Btw I still want to give this show a chance, hope next. Episode will be improve.

The production team really good at taking the actors and actresses , and their character also match with what they want to remake/

LJK represents the black cop : always rush in case n brave then the captain who is smart in analyzing then there a woman agent who seems strict a woman computer specialist with too much makeup a cute guy who master mind in analyzing the person and genius

Basics! LJK was unbearably rash in the first episode but I hope it is only due to the fact that the victim is a dongseng. He is so attractive around kids and I hope his character is much much smarter then his recklessness! And...he should do more of these stuffs then Scarlet heart(just a personal opinion, no ill intentions as I love his acting too! =p) Definitely another great cast & crew! Looking forward. Hwaiting!

Risu Aug 04 2017 12:02 am Im guessing that the last episode is about The Reaper. He will kill those victims saved by the profilers' team in some (if not all) of the Criminal Mind's episodes. This happened in the US version.

tim Aug 03 2017 8:44 pm for those who already watched the US version, it would be hard not to compare the original and the remake one, since it's a remake so i do expected some similarities between the two shows. Its hard to say if this remake is good or bad since it's only been 4 episode, there are still 16 episode left which left plenty of room for development and progress, the acting is pretty good actually. I don't see any annoying female character so far, so it's good, every character is necessary. I guess it's a good thing that i didn't watch the original so i don't have to compare the two. Well lets hope it's will get more interesting.

I found this show is absolutely amazing, they deliver criminal in korean way, they make it not that tough but the sense of criminal and profiler is actually there. For certain character, I think the y create 'that' character in different package but with the same content, so having some differences is not a big deal for me as long as they still in line. Just enjoy the show, and see a lots of improvement letter in character as well as in directing, we still in episode 3, long way to go. Just because they are not that good in premiered episode doesn't mean the coming episode will be the same. As for me, I am bit touchy and feel like this is not only criminal drama but also talking about humanity. Come on wise person, I m not good in assessing something (of course who am I lol) but I think this drama deserve more appreciation. They come with so much burden already, we need to see this from different point of view n trust me you will fall for them. Looking forward to them.

Alvin Aug 02 2017 11:38 pm I have been watching all criminal minds series (US). When the Korean version is released, I am a little bit disappointed with it. The actors and actresses are great but the delivery is somehow a letdown, missing the suspense feeling from the original. But maybe because it still early episodes. I am really looking forward for the next episodes, hopefully it can be as good as the original one.

I get that her character is the PR person, but she's PR for a high level government agency and has been through the same training as the other agents. Writers if you see this ( even though I doubt it), please do a better job of writing for her character.

I honestly have been watching american shows too and i find this is a good show. I am used to american show. Despite some of it's flaws, it's not a big deal. Other kdramas also have their flaws. This show does not have that kind of fantasy format whereby the main protagonist can travel in time / communicate to the past or they can read people's mind to their advantage or they have brain surgey which cause them to have no emotion and single handedly uncover the corruption. I think those shows are not even real to begin with. This show is more relatable and there is no fantasy involved. Maybe that's the reason why my husband likes to watch it. No drama is perfect. Stop nitpicking it.

I have no insight about criminal investigation through profiling before. So i''m excited to know more about the next case, and I got the mesage from 2nd episode to be aware for people around you, especially to a stranger. Crime could happened anytime, anywhere.

I found it interesting too when the NCI team analyzed suspects through profiling. Analyze human behavior is a challenging yet interesting.

The casts depicted their characters well. With total 20 episodes, I guess it will have dinamic & straightforward storyline, and It doesn't let me get bored with too long episodes. 20 episodes is fit well for me.

I read some disappointed comments about this drama and comparing it with the original one. But I trust my first impression about this drama. And I have a good impression. So I won't notice others judge.

I think some people missed the fact that Joong Ki (Hyun Jun) used to be profiler, but he quit due to the accident of hospital explosion where his collegeu (Na Young's brother) died and he holds grudge to Team Manager Kang Ki Hyung who believes as the one who took the responsibility (since that Hyun Jun start saying he didn't believe in profiling). If you compare this K-Drama with its original and saying this one is bit rushed, please see that the original version of Criminals Minds has 12 Seasons (and each season have 22-26 episodes) and Season 13 will aired soon. So, it's logic if the K-Drama version was bit rushed. I read somewhere the OST will release August 2nd at 6PM KST

but i think the cinematography plays a part too.. it doesnt feel like tvn drama (which usually have excellent and different cinematography compare to sbs, kbs and mbc dramas)..

storyline wise.. it's too rushing, or is it always like that in the original series? i didnt watch the us series tho..

well, i will give a chance for this drama since this is a crime genre which i like haha.. maybe i watch too much of secret forest and still cant move on from it T.T

After each ten minutes of watching I felt exhausted. I will never be able to understand this technique of filming in obscurity. All I could saw was black, black, black, shadows, shadows, shadows, darkness, darkness, darkness. From time to time the light of a lamp or a lighting window appeared, but surrounded by a sea of darkness as if these objects were the main characters of the film. Sometimes I had saw a figure and I was torturing myself to figure out who could be. Then I realized that my image was reflected on the dark screen of the monitor. In such viewing conditions I think I will have to quit watching this series no matter how much I like the main actors.

Koko Jul 28 2017 1:42 pm It will be a rant so don't read if you like the show. I could compare to the original series but I won't bc... yeah. I will give my honest opinion. Nothing in the plot was gripping, the way they showed the victims felt like there wasn't even time to feel bad for them. The way they "created" the profile also felt like they were just throwing random things out there which miraculously turned out to be correct. I'm not even gonna comment on the way they found the suspect that fit the profile. What else? Oh, we shouldnt compare the characters but the way korean versions of Reid and Penelope are lacking so much. Na Na Hwang is supposed to work with computers and she does almost nothing through 2 episodes except for some simple searches and actress doesn't fit the bubbly character. Also suddenly if feels like Lee Han knows more about computers than her. Also Hyun Joon doesn't believe in profiling but he turns out to be a profiler???? Ok, maybe he lost faith in it after that friend's death but still. So convinient. The worst part is we are in the second case now (or third if you count the beginning) and all the cases have connections to the team one way or another. Aren't there ppl outside of that team reach that need help? Why make it so connected, it doesn't feel real at all. I like the actors, they do their best and maybe connection between their characters will somehow save the show a little in the future but for me the plot is weak.

It's not your original version of Criminal Minds, it's Korean version! Stop saying they copy paste the original then complain afterwards about not following the original version. Try to look in this drama in new perspective without comparing it to the original one and you'll see what I mean. Don't say its rushed because logically thinking, they only have 20 episodes to make everything balance.

With so many strong and talented actors it's not a coincidence that this show is so good. (Never seen the US version.) Congrats to tvN for using real talented actors instead of idols, well done.

Rosiy Jul 27 2017 3:28 pm I don't like the makeup. Too white and too shiny. The actors and actresses looked like the ancient Chinese vampires with shiny faces. For a crime drama, I expect a more natural look that close to skin tone, especially for the actors.

MCW's makeup looks natural. It suits her Ha Sun-Woo character so I enjoy her acting more.

Frankly, I can see other people`s complaints/letdowns (or however they want to call it) about the editing or other complaining about how different this is from the American one. Truth is, the acting in this remake is great, the plot totally gives the right feeling and rationally involves the watchers in its storyline. I personally decided to stick around; I`m curious for what`s coming. My point is, you can`t keep that much of a critical eye to notice every single detail of production and the plot line itself in the same time. Most of people have only seen the first episode only, so I don't think they should drop it yet. Give it a couple of more episodes and hopefully you`ll like it.

"Motion Picture Photography" is great, the bomb explosion is a Wow... As if you are watching a movie, the story goes well profiling, the actors and actresses did well in their respective character especially Lee joon Gi who play a smart investigator. Over all Criminal Minds is the best Kdrama for 2017 period.

The mood and background sounds were what makes the american series much exciting. Hopefully it'll be somewhat better. Will still watch for e casts esp lee junki opppaaaaa

What a shame Jul 27 2017 11:26 am I tried watching the first episode to see if it's good but sad to say I was disappointed. I have nothing against the actors who play the roles. They're good but it seems like their talent is wasted big time. The story is cool and interesting. The problem is how it's being directed and edited. The production team just doesn't know how to make the episode exciting and less boring. The phasing is very fast you actually have to catch your breath. And don't get me started with the transitions per scene. Also the audio, ugh! I can only shake my head. I can't help but to compare it with the drama VOICE. In voice every scene is exciting you would actually ask for more. Oh well just watch both dramas for you to know what I mean. Lastly, no hating. Just an opinion.

I know director Lee Jung-Hyo from Because it's first time. He did very well there. His style fits teen life drama so much But that's not the case here. I'd recommend I remember you, korean drama with a same plot (criminal profiling) in 2015, which is much better than this. It looks mysteriously attractive, exciting and cinematic is beautiful. Criminal minds need a directing like that. This seems too old-fashion. I thought I'm watching 2013-2014 drama D:

Because it's an american remake and there are a lot of original series fans, I don't want them to see this and say korean production can only be at this level? so disappointing. There are so much better ones and this is not considered the best. This is just a wrong choice of choosing production team to match the series.

My expectation on this drama is too high since Im a big fan of criminal Minds US... these group of profilers has been part of me for years... Hope this one will not fail me. But for now, the casts are all good, the chemistry is good which is very important... i know Lee Junki will play the role of Morgan well, Moon Chae Won and Lee Su Bin will play Prentiss and JJ im not sure if who will play who but they are all good actors... The spices of the Criminal Minds are garcia and Dr. Reid they are really my favorite and I hope the actors who will play them will give justice on these characters ..

I watch both Joon Gi recent drama scholar who walk the night and moon lovers, but I don't think the lead actresses can match his acting skill that well. No offense though, I love both Lee Yoo Bi and IU ^.^

CW Feb 23 2017 6:39 am It will need to have it's own flavor if it's going to succeed. If they follow too closely the American production with Daniel Henney, then it might fall flat. Actors and camerawork need to be impeccable. Will need to bring their 'A' game to the production. Could be really good. Give a guest appearance with Daniel would be right touch, but who knows? I'd like to see it happen from the perspective of joining Hollywood with Korean entertainment because of the truly talented people in S. Korea.
