Ki Su-Jong (Ha Jung-Woo) is married to Kim Sun (Lim Soo-Jung) and is the head of his family. He manages to pull everything together to buy a building through a loan. Because of this, he is saddled with a huge pile of debt. He is pressured by Yo-Na (Shim Eun-Kyung) from Real Capital. She is a mysterious woman, who was adopted overseas as a child. Ki Su-Jong struggles to protect his building as things keep getting worse for him. In order to protect his family and building, he plans a fake kidnapping, but the situation spirals out of control.
Meanwhile, Ki Su-Jong's friend Min Hwal-Seong (Kim Jun-Han) failed every business venture and investment that he is participated in, but he married Jeon Yi-Kyeong (Krystal), who is the daughter of a major real estate investor, and his life has settled down. He still has the desire to succeed by himself and to be recognized. This makes him do something unexpected.
