Han Yeo-Reum (Choi Gang-Hee) is a radio program writer. She was popular when she was younger, but she is now an ordinary 37-year-old woman and lonely. She has an uncomfortable relationship with her coworker PD Oh Je-Hoon (Tae In-Ho). They have feelings for each other, but they do not develop a relationship. Han Yeo-Reum then casts Park Hae-Joon (Lee Jun-Hyuk) for a program. She is her ex-boyfriend and a pop music columnist.

Notes

Main character's name of Han Yeo-Reum also means "Midsummer." Therefore, the literal title of the drama series could be "Han Yeo-Reum's Memory" or "Midsummer's Memory."

Jilli Apr 05 2023 5:02 am I sought this one out not so much for the cast, because they were all excellent and I've enjoyed them in other works, but because the writer also wrote the magical I'll Go To You When The Weather Is Nice and I had totally fallen in love with that drama. Han Yeo Reum's Memory came before that one so I wanted to check out anything else Han Ga Ram had written. What I was most impressed with here in this drama was the combination of present day and flashback scenes and how seamlessly they were interwoven together to present a total picture of one woman's love relationships over her lifetime. I am so much of a linear thought person myself in my writing that interweaving scenes of present and past together so deeply, like this drama presented, would be impossible for me. So, kudos to this writer! She should write more dramas!

Milky Apr 20 2020 3:33 am It’s a short drama and an easy watch. None of the characters are perfect, including the main character Han Yeo Reum. It was refreshing to see a main character with flaws because it’s realistic, no one is perfect. She got hurt by others and also gave a lot of hurt to others, just like a real life relationship. The show’s about flawed people in relationships with other flawed people and learning through breakups, fights, and dating. I think the least flawed was Park Hae Joon but I may also be biased because wow he is really handsome... if i were her I wouldn’t have broken his heart like that lol!
