Na A-Jeong (Jun Jong-Seo) works as an extra actress. She's talented as an actress, but she has gotten recognized for her work at all. She has experience acting as a married woman, but, in real life, her dating life is on the back burner due to her difficult reality. She has a male friend named Lee Do-Han (Kim Do-Wan) whom she has known for 15 years.

Lee Do-Han is the son of a chaebol family that runs the LJ Group. He is pushed to get married by his family, but he has a secret that he can't marry. Lee Do-Han turns to his friend Na A-Jeong and asks if she would act like his wife and daughter-in-law of his family. She accepts the offer and prepares to play the first leading role in her life as Lee Do-Han's wife. At that time, she has an unexpected disrupter. That person is Lee Ji-Han (Moon Sang-Min), who is Lee Do-Han’s younger brother. Lee Ji-Han has ambitions to make his older brother Lee Do-Han the successor of the LJ Group. Lee Ji-Han works hard to achieve his goal, but his plan is disrupted by his brother's sudden wedding announcement. Lee Ji-Han now tries to prevent his brother's wedding and he brings Yoon Chae-Won (Bae Yoon-Kyoung) into the picture as his brother's potential bride.

Maria Errica Lim Aug 17 2024 10:52 am I’ve noticed a lot of negative reviews , the comments but it’s definitely a far cry from what I’ve got. Currently watching this drama and I find myself getting glued to the storyline, I can’t stop but just took a break to look at the comments here. For me, this is a feel-good one that helps relieve my stress away and serves as a time - out from the real chaotic world. I am elated too and kthat this kind of drama appeared on the list of suggestions to watch. The first few episodes showed that the ML tries to seduce the FL, well it did worked on me as I felt the butterflies on my stomach fluttered on some of the light and sweet scenes. I do hope for more dramas for the main leads, their visuals are great and it will be helpful for them to have more exposure on a variety of storylines for them to play in the future. Love them on this one and I will definitely wait for their upcoming dramas too.

The only this that was fun in this series is Eun-Taek the ML’s assistant/secretary. That guy is so funny! I first liked him in memories of Alhambra.

The acting of the two male leads is so bad, they act like the they are depressed with the script (as they should), and with the episodes the same happens to the female lead which become depressive too.

There is so much filler I skipped forward so hard. You can have 10 or 20 minutes side story when they connect with the main story at some point, but when they don't it's just useless !

I'm going to finish it but honestly I'm at EP8 and the snake is eating its tail ! Story makes no sense and even as slice of life it's bad.

Steve May 07 2024 8:26 pm So many problems with this drama. The story started strong and the snappy dialog suggested that this drama might be something a little different. But, No. The drama devolved into a murky, sluggish, unwatchable mess by episode six. Jun Jong-Seo is one of the better actors in her generation, but miscast in this role. It is a universal truth of television and film that a good script will allow an average actor shine, but a good actor cannot save a poor script.

The fact that this woman decided to marry a friend for her only leading role? That's when it went wrong, and no one would be that loyal to a friend or role if they really loved someone else.

LeeLww Apr 08 2024 7:25 am I had huge expectations because of the actors. Did I enjoy it? No. Am I disappointed? Yes. Female lead is good but she does not match these types of dramas. Her acting was quite poor. Almost no diference between sad and angry. When she was supposed to be happy it looked force. Male lead wasn't so disappointing but it still wasn't good. the plot was quite boring, no plot twists drama, not even the chemistry made me think omg that's good. 3/10

It was as if I was watching an entirely new series with a different plot. It was hurried, nothing was logical from start to finish, it was as if the writer suddenly gave up thinking and just decided to make everything look rosy so show could,have a happy ending. What a waste considering leads started out so well, their chemistry was so good but the last 2 episodes felt as if they didn't know each other. Couldn't feel their intense love for each other even tho script said so. Disappointing.

However, the drama lacks logic. Firstly, LJH is supposed to be ambitious and calculative since hes been plotting to inherit the company since 8y/o. But he just seems like hes floofing around and the cute image they are trying to frame him into kinda goes against the logic of his character. People are also saying that LDH is selfish for not caring about LJH but he has always made it clear that he wants to live his own life instead of inheriting the company. LJH cant force LDH to obey him. Although, you could say that LDH is selfish because he only cares about living in NY and would do anything to get his way.

Secondly, LJH should not be falling for NAJ that easily when to him, NAJ and LDH (His Brother) is in love. From ep 1-5, LJH is literally treating NAJ like a single woman that he is trying to woo rather than his brother's girlfriend. There doesnt seem to be a boundary between them. And logically, LJH should have a serious internal processing before he falls in love NAJ. why is it only after LJH fell in love with NAJ that he started remembering that shes his brother's gf??

After NAJ and LDH officially got tgt, NAJ still made clung onto LJH because she is actually in love with him. However, LJH still doesnt know that LDH and NAJ is in a fake rs. so shldnt he be perplexed/weirded when NAJ lowkey confessed to him?

I like that NAJ and LDH actually had mature conversations about their friendship in the first few eps although their dialogues could be more natural. They could also put in more effort in acting like a couple especially infront of LJH.

Overall, its a cute romcom but needs better character and plot logic. It would also be better if it was more fast paced because after ep 5, the show felt draggy.

I love how she has a very realistic way of acting scenes out.

I think the premise is very simple but the way they executed things is really fun. There's four episodes left though, so I'm really hoping they won't rush too much in wrapping things up.

The boxing in season 4 was quite funny, the guy was obviously missing punches on purpose, going very easy on her cos she's a woman.the FL was now punching him to look though. She's not good at punching, for someone who had such opening, her balance was off, the punches was very slow & weak. That scene looked so funny to. I was like, what's this. It looked as if they were playing instead of boxing. Overall, the drama was slow and confusing, Esp. The part where the younger brother says he would steal her away from the elder brother. I wanted to stop there I forced myself to continue watching. In the end, I didn't enjoy it. You'll can watch it yourself and also drop your comment. The actors and actresses are very beautiful and handsome, I must say. Peace ✌️

Immo Mar 23 2024 6:53 am I’m trying this one because I was disappointed with Impossible Heir and Wonderful World is just too heavy. This is romcom not drama. It’s meant to be light and cute. If you like serious stuff and big plot, this is Not that drama. The actors proved themselves in the past with great acting skills in Queen’s Umbrella and Ballerina and Money Heist. So I say let them try to do something new for a change. Who knows they are young and beautiful and they have the chemistry. They could even end up as couple in real life.

I can understand why Ahjung falls for Jihan because she and Dohan is just a marriage contract, so I think it is natural for her to develop a feeling for Jihan, even though she try hard to deny it. I am looking forward to watch all episodes. Hope at the end all the leads are happy.

Rhania Mar 19 2024 8:04 pm Nothing has ever hit so close to home like the last episode, seeing a character like Lee Ji-Han blaming his brother for being a coward and being selfish whilst knowing the truth!

Whilst I understand about him falling for his Na-Ajung unintentionally, but turning this whole thing around as his brother's fault is such a gaslighting behavior! From the beginning, his character was so whiny, about wanting to inherit everything for his 'brother' who doesn't want anything to do with the company.

I had hoped after knowing everything he will understand Lee Dohan's plight, but now halfway through just disappointed in his character growth whereas others around him are showing different character growths.

Well, had to put this out as it felt such a replica of my home environment!

The female lead Na Ah-Jeong is stupid going around with him and trusting him, e.g., for dinner. Further, notwithstanding Lee Do-Han is himself gay, he should protect Na Ah-Jeong from his brother Lee Ji-Han.

All in all, something is amiss in the storyline.

Moon Sangmin's acting has improved soooo much since Under the Queen's Umbrella. And the female lead is an excellent match for him. Great great great.

I understand that Dohan's character had to be gay,. It'd be so easy for viewers to support Ahjung and Dohan instead of Ahjung and Jihan. Jihan's selfish, pushing his brother to take the role he hates. He felt so betrayed when his brother wanted to live his own life. But what does he know about Dohan? Dohan is the loneliest person in that family. I sympathized more with Dohan, but we all know where this story is going.

For example, when the president's secretary is telling Na A-Jeong about why Lee Ji-Han is afraid of rain after visiting mum. Where did that even come from? Why is he telling her that? I know he's the main lead but dialogue made no sense. He knows she's marrying Lee Do-Han so why is he talking about Lee Ji-Han. I'm continuing just drama because of Jun Jong-Seo because I think she's doing great.

koreanpower Mar 11 2024 2:14 pm The writing is not good. The plot doesn't make sense. I liked Moon Sang Min in Under the Queen's Umbrella, I don't know if he's ready to be a leading actor by himself. The female lead has passion while the male lead is just monotone. I sort of wish Kim Do Hwan was the lead.

Fm Mar 07 2024 1:39 am 4 episodes in and so far it is a fun drama and I'm really enjoying it. I like the casting and the actors are doing a great job. And their chemistry is good making it a fun watch.

sara Mar 06 2024 12:43 pm making dohan straight after all the fuss he made because he was gay and can't marry chaewon is the Worst plot line i have ever seen. jihan and ajeong are a great pair together, dohan and ajeong are only very valuable friends..jihan only sees chaewon as a woman for his brother lol, like they said in the drama he was never really interested in woman (he doesn't even value friendship i think) plus ajeong knew dohan for years, if he wasn't gay they would be together since a long time

At such a young age, she has garnered a number of Best Actress awards, including the Baeksang Best Actress Award for Film in 2021. "The character" she plays in Wedding Impossible may not be that admirable but she, "the actress", is definitely just living up to "the character" that she's expected to portray.

Thursday Mar 01 2024 12:01 am Wow.. this is a good new drama, the first two episodes are entertaining! I am impressed with Moon Sang-Min acting in "Under the Queen's Umbrella". It is quite a surprise he can act witty and funny in this drama. What a talented young actor, continue to be impressive! His career will continue soaring.

This is the first time I watch Jun Jong-Seo acting, and I like her. She is good in portraying hard work of an extra actress, but full of determination.

I know this drama is good because I cannot wait for more episodes to arrive! Great job casts and crew! Fighting!
