Wataru Okatani (Atsushi Ito) works for the Kanto Newspaper as a local news reporter. He is married to
Ayaka and they have a 7 year old daughter. One day, Wataru Okatani discovers that his wife Ayaka is having an affair with Masato Shiba (Teppei Koike). Masato Shiba is the chief manager for the biggest entertainment office in Japan. Wataru Okatani also learns that in divorce cases, fathers' gaining child custody rights are very low in Japan. To gain custody of his daughter, he pretends that he doesn't about his wife's affair and begins to work at home and becomes more involved in his daughter's rearing. During this time, Wataru Okatani collects evidence of his wife's affair. He receives help from Private Detective Yuu Misago (Taiki Sato) and Lawyer Tokiko Takarada (Miki Mizuno).
