Seitaro Mochizuki (Issey Takahashi) was full of enthusiasm as a pyrotechnist, but, 1 year later, his enthusiasm for his work has gone away. He hardly goes out and he lives like a recluse. His fireworks store, that has been passed down for generations in his family, is still open, but doesn't get much business. The reason for his condition may be related to too much media attention and his personality. Meanwhile, Seitaro Mochizuki’s pupil Hikari Mizumori (Tsubasa Honda) works part-time as a pyrotechnist at a different fireworks store. Working at the other fireworks store, she realizes once again the greatness of Seitaro Mochizuki’s fireworks skill. At that time, the ghost of Ko Mochizuki (Isao Hashizume) appears in front of Seitaro Mochizuki and Hikari Mizumori. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman named Fumika Noguchi (Mayu Miyamoto) appears at Seitaro Mochizuki’s fireworks store.
