It's bizzare to me . The actress was clearly overacting but the screenplay wasn't particularly helpful. I've just re watched the drama and while the male lead does an amazing job and is very restrained,the female lead is enough for the forward button to get pushed repeatedly.... Such a shame... In the Chinese version (original version) the novel does not really have season 2 but because of the request from chinese fans, they created a season 2 which is a rom com and in the modern times. I fell in love with the actor’s action . I hope he didn’t make u upset I could feel he put his heart & soul in this while acting . Byeon Woo-seok became my favo after watching this drama….. I used to watch almost all high school dramas both Korean and American even though I’m not a native Korean or American. However, as I am watching Lovely Runner again, I find I missed so much the first time. So I would like some answers to questions I have. One is when Sonjae was in his room on the balcony and looking very sad and depressed, there was his doorbell ringing. Who was that? Was it the man who bumped into Sol while she was at the concert who dropped her telephone the serial killer or someone else? Also, was he murdered by that person? If he was such and excellent swimmer, why did he choose to die in the pool? Also, it seems he already knew Sol but she didn’t know him when she was on the bridge after the concert. I have many more questions and, if it is okay, will ask more questions of you. I know you must be busy and hope you can answer my questions but, if not, I want you to know you are one amazing writer. I am glad it took three years to make because you got the perfect actors and actresses for this drama. However, I have a few questions that I hope you can answer as I think over the plot. I may have to write to again as I think about this drama more deeply. It was a beautiful romance. Many of us around the world just adored it and couldn’t wait for the next episodes. One of my questions is was the serial killer after Sol orSanjae? Also in the first episode did Sanjae commit suicide or did the serial killer kill him? Who rang the doorbell? Raynah Jan 01 2024 3:47 pm As much as the ending of true beauty fit the plot, and left many viewers distraught, upset and even to the point where they are crying, I believe there should be a second season of true beauty. Yes, Jugyeong and Soo-ho have had their happy ever endings as the main protagonists, but what about the second lead, Seojun? It pained a lot of viewers to see him in episode 16 crying on the stairs, finally giving up Jugyeong for his ex-enemy, Soo-ho. Yes. Seojun did claim that he will now be able to get over Jugyeong due to him being busy with his debut, but it is clear to us viewers that Seojun deserves his happy ever ending in his love life. If his sister Gowoon found love, and Jugyeongs brother found love, shouldnt Seojun find his love? I believe you should highly take true beauty season 2 into consideration, as for one, it has become a hit show with many still watching it in 2024. Even if it takes 2 years for season 2 to be published, I and many others, will wait. Please take my words into consideration. Haha Dec 15 2021 4:23 pm True Beauty is one of my favorite shows on Viki. You can tell a really good writer by how much emotion you feel when you watch the show. I have watched shows based on webtoons before. The webtoons I have read I notice that most of the emotion comes from the watcher not the writer. The writer implies what is intended. With a screenwriter you have to write in such a way to make people feel the emotion in what is implied. Does this make sense? They are different. I just want to say again, well done!
