Miyako Kaburagi (Sumire) works in the sales department of a large cosmetics company. She does great work and earns an annual income of over 10 million yen, but, in her personal life, she agonizes over how to live. One day, she sees a painting at a gallery. This changes her life. She decides to enroll in a university to become a painter. She continues to work and studies to enter the arts university.
