Set 18 months after movie "Library Wars." After the government's enactment of the Media Betterment Act, battles wage between the Betterment Squads and the Library Defense. The Library Defense resists censorship and advocates freedom of expression. The biggest battle awaits for the Library Defense.

Maybe this seems old, but in the anime, he is portrayed as looking older.

I suppose to note the difference of age, because Iku is only 22, and in the manga, they look like the same age, which is misleading...

I was quite sad upon hearing that the Library wars manga was to end, back in February but a chance google today brought the discovery that not only was there a second movie and a special in the works but the mangaka is continuing the series under the title Library Wars Bessatsu Hen! So excited for this! I believe the special (Book of Memories) is going to air before the movie to build anticipation. Can't wait!

Minnie Jan 16 2015 11:29 pm I'm actually so excited for this sequel that I could literally cry. The first movie was great so my expectations for this are very high! I don't think I'll be able to wait until October for the release, and who knows how long for the subtitles! Prayer circle.
