Plot
Eun-jae is an illustrator for a children's book publisher. One day, she goes to the bookstore to do some research and runs into Jin-woo. Eun-jae met him on a train while on a trip many years ago by coincidence. Eun-jae cautiously starts to meet with Jin-woo. She is drawn to him even though they are both married with families. Along with them, Eun-jae's friend, Yoon-soo, and Jin-woo's friend, Chang-sae, who are respectively a wife to a loveless husband and husband to a morbidly suspicious wife, enjoy their clandestine meetings. As a result, the four quickly grow close. Eun-jae feels a twinge of guilt towards her husband and daughter but she discovers a new self she has not known through her relationship with Jin-woo. On the other hand, the relationship between Yoon-soo and Chang-sae, which is supposed to end as a light short-lived relationship, turns into a reckless love that ultimately brings about enormous sacrifice.
