Kang Ho-Young (Kang Tae-Oh) is a short track speed skater. He learned how to skate at a small skating rink in the countryside. He was scouted by Kangbaek University which is famous for short track speed skating. There, he meets Park Eun-Ho (Yeo Hoi-Hyeon) who is referred to as "The King of Short Track Speed Skating." He is the only child from a prestigious family in sports, but Park Eun-Ho has been in a slump.

Kang Ho-Young and Park Eun-Ho compete against each other and form a friendship. They both love Yoo Ji-Na (Kim Do-Yeon) who is auditioning to become a member of a girl group.

Notes

"Short" takes over OCN's Monday & Tuesday 21:00 time slot previously occupied by "My First Love" and followed by "That Man Oh Soo" in March, 2018.

Park Min Oct 03 2024 10:20 pm Well, it turned out that sport was an afterthought, while the rest felt like random unstructured slop. In contrast to its presented contest, it would be the opposite of a "short" short.

Ciepao Jan 12 2024 10:52 am One thing that I like about Asian shows, particularly Korean dramas, is the vast variety of shows about different sports, jobs, and genres. This drama is one of them, as it revolves around skating. This is my first time watching a show about skaters, so the storyline is new and fresh to me.

As this is a minidrama with only 4 episodes, I won't rate it heavily. Their acting skills are all fine, and the arguments of Kang Hoyoung (Kang Tae Oh) and Park Eunho (Yeo Hoi-Hyeon) are fun to watch. Usually, I don't find the main leads in short dramas entertaining, but both of them did a great job. The plot is nice, and if you are looking for a short, fun minidrama, then I recommend this for you. Surprisingly, even though this is a short drama, the ending is not rushed, and the flow of the story is enjoyable. Yes, this is the first OCN romance that I liked, but the romance here is not that much since it only has 4 episodes. A 7/10.

CKW Feb 26 2018 9:46 am Kang Tae Oh deserves a lead role tbh It's sad to see him always as a supporting or a 2nd lead (I hated how You Are Too Much ended for his character). He has the looks, charisma and talent to lead a show. Give him some love please PDs and casting directors!

Crystal Jeanne Feb 14 2018 11:47 am I like the genres of this drama it was all my favorite music, romance and sports all together?..but i still find other actors and actresses for the 2 episodes that needs improvement especially do yeon acting on the 1st episode her being a beginner in acting really shows off?...her acting doesn't portray her character..and her facial expressions really show her nervousness and awkwardness on her co-actors...but i like how she speak the english part its sounds natural compare to some big actresses already and she's really pretty dancing there?i wish she do well on her career as an idol and get better as an actress..not everyone are best on their first time so i wish her the best?..kim do yeon fighting! I miss ioi and waiting for their group new comeback???

cerise Feb 14 2018 2:34 am It's a surprise that I enyoyed the 2 episodes very much. It's Kang tae Oh after all. I have discovered him with the drama Forever Young 1&2. Later on I searched on the net and found him as a member of 5urprise. I became a fan of this group since then. In this drama, the role suits him a lot. I love all the young actors in this drama. It's kind of freshnet among the law dramas. A must wach as you will smile all along the 2 episodes. I expect the last 2 will be good too! Cheers!

kiwi Feb 05 2018 11:55 am It is a first time that I see a Korean skating movie. it will be a new theme to discover. I would like to be amazed by this. Youth, sport, friendship, challenge, love, Olympic period, all these elements together! And cherry on the top; Kang Tae Oh, a good sport actor will be lead actor, with Kim- Do Young. A lot of expectations from their acting and chemistry. Can't wait!
